This is a great and unprententious bar/restaurant, owned by a plain speaking Yorkshireman called Hans! and his charming West Indian wife Ailene. The service is very friendly and the food excellent. No nonsense fish & chips, curries, even steak & kidney pie, all at local prices make this a must for visitors. Expect to run in to a celeb or two but don't worry, they won't bother you! One thing to remember is that Groots is a CASH ONLY restaurant. The owner was kind enough to drive me back to our villa to get some cash though!
