Great place to visit, tour guides went above and beyond to give a tour even though the tours had ended. Thanks so much
Interesting for a one-hour visit. Guides are knowledgeable and very helpful. A must visit if you are staying nearby.
The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing; of course when you're on vacation in Barbados!
When visiting in the island, this is something that is a MUST. Depending on how much of a history buff you are, this is like heaven on earth for American history and especially how it connects with Barbados.
It gives you a lot of background on the history of George Washington, his brother Lawrence and the plantations. It also goes into detail with a movie and a tour of the tunnels that connected the house to the Garrison.
Great experience; awesome tour guide with the voice of a God!
Very interesting historical information. We were surprised by the strong connection between Barbados and the southern us colonies and George Washington.
Despite the fact that it is not a GW’s house, but the house where he stayed when visiting Barbados, it is a very nice historic house that worth a visit, specially on a rainy day or when you get tired of the beach. Expensive, as everything on the island. There is a very nice restaurant for having breakfast in the inside.
Very nice museum and very well taken care of! The admission price includes a guided tour in English, and the script is even available in other foreign languages. Only the additional $10 for the tunnels are not worth it imo, as the guided "tour" just lasts like 10min. So I'd recommend just going for the George Washington House and read online about the tunnels.
Took my 3 and 5 years old theretour guides are great but just enough to keep them entertained
Nice house, good period pieces. The drainage tunnels are less thrilling.
Loved the place! The tour was great and lunch very nice.

Crikey it was so hot I sweated a lot visiting this place. Glad I took water with me else I'd have melted. Fascinating history
Good tour experience. Friendly & helpful staff.
Restored house with informative museum about Washington's stay in Barbados but also about the history of the island.
Visited this place for the Café outside the museum, offers good quality food and the atmosphere is brilliant. It has a nice terrace next to the Museum garden.
Lovely location to checkout if you have a few hours to spare. You can also get breakfast at the cafe on site which is fantastic.
