This Place Has Some Very Best Tasting Food and the Host Mr Armstrong Is A Great Guy....
I love this place. Satisfied with the filling of bajan food. The owner Mr. Clement is very accommodating and friendly. Specially like his signature bow tie. I have no problem coming back all the time at this place.
My wife & I were having a day tour of the Island when I asked our Taxi driver to stop somewhere nice for lunch. What a wonderful choice he made in Speighstown right on the edge of the Beautiful Caribbean.
Lovely staff ,Delicious Local fresh food & of course Banks Beer.
Wish we could of enjoyed an evening in the "Fisherman`s "under the stars but had to get back to the Cruise Ship.
Nice setting looking out at the sea..
Food's nice as well with some genuine staff 1
Informal ocean view dining experience. Traditional Barbadian Pub. Authentic Barbadian cuisine. Iconic Speightstown Landmark...family-owned business...home away from home!!
What a fab place to visit, we we found this place at the start of our holiday. Yummy food and friendly staff. Highly recommend anyone to have a drive around the Island and pop into the Fisherman's Pub!
old time eatery.. best for lunch.. daily range of local foods at local prices. owner is such a great character. macaroni pie is best on the island..
Relaxed bar, food served, live music, view of the sea and the pier
Good local dishes in a rustic setting on the water. Good value.
The staff is friendĺy the food is good .I goes there and take my family sometimes ,Mr armstrong is frienđly and courteous
Perfect after a long day of driving around the island. Staff very friendly, not expensive, right on beach, yummy canteen-style food.
Good food nice location.
Love their food. Selections change daily and you get to see all of your choices as they are ready to be served from a buffet. Also it's right on the water which makes for a great lunch or evening meal. The deck is covered in case of rain. This is a must in Barbados!
Romell was a fantastic server/bar man/waiter! He was very attentive and a great laugh. We were recommended to visit here by a local. Hope Romell is there on our return. Fish cakes were divine, we even took more home with us!
The Food was good. Location is not too bad. The vibe" in the atmosphere was a little on the dark side.
Great location and good atmosphere
What a great place! You don't come here for fancy, white table cloth dining. You cone for the food and hospitality. Some of the best Bajan food we had the whole trip. Set right on the ocean, you can't beat the view. If you see Junior (the owner) start a conversation, he knows this island better than most and will give you the full run down on it all.
Excellent place for authentic Bajan food. Restaurant is very much part of the Barbados experience - right on the ocean and Barbadian cuisine. Menu varies by the day of the week and there is a live steelband on Wednesdays. Prices are very reasonable, food is selected cafeteria style. The menu is not extensive but everything is delicious! Don't miss this experience if you are in Barbados.
Best little local beach spot. They don't make drinks, they just sell you the bottles and mixers and give you all you need to make your own and relax. Almost always some music going on as well.
The worst most unpleasant and unprofessional experience I have ever encountered.
I will NEVER NEVER go back.
We arrived at 1015am and asked about fishcakes.
We were a party of 8 all looking for something to eat.
We were told that they didn't open until 11 so we went for a walk and return at about 1050.
We were left standing outside on the small pavement outside as they were not willing for us to waiting inside or out on the sea facing veranda.
We were eventually allowed to enter at about 1110.
We asked what else was on the menu and the lady seemed to be put out that we asked what was on the menu.
We were told fishcakes were not ready yet although we had said nearly a hour ago that is what we came for..
When we asked how long we were initially told 15mins then we were told the batter mix was not ready and would be a long time before it would be.
At this point we all left never to return
