The only national park on tbe island is an execellent green space where you can embrace nature. Used for many shows from Soca on the hill, gospel fest and reggae on the hill; it is a great place for family picnics or to sit and take in a breath taking view of the scotland district. The park also has a plsy area and bathroom facilities

Tranquil park overlooking the rugged untamed East Coast. Lovely spot to have a picnic and relax with the refreshing sea breezes. A children's play area with swings, slides etc are also located in the park. Entry by foot is free. Vehicles pay a parking fee.

It was very quiet day with no tourists. 3 usd entry. Great place for a picnic. Ruins of the house are fenced all the way around.

Farley Hill is worth the visit, not only does it have a rich history but there are breath taking views of the East Coast of the island. In the 1950's the movie Island in the Sun was film there staring Harry Belafonte. The mansion was destroyed by fire but the remains gives any visitor an insight to the past grandeur. The property has mature mahogany trees and various tropical flowers, it is maintain by the National Conservation Commission.

Farley Hill is known for its panoramic views of St. Andrew and its eastern coast. It has many trees for shade which lend themselves to the serenity of the park. Children love the play park here. There is some need for refurbishment around the bathroom area and a drink and snack machine would be useful as there is no restaurant or shop on site.

This is a park where lots of international show are held and also good for relaxing but you have to pay a small fee to enter

Great place for a nice getaway lime..good picnic spot..on top the hill overlooks the island's east coast line,where the sandpit,chalkymount and the sea shores are clearly visible amoungst others in that specific area..the breeze would send anyone to sleep if you are not careful lol Its a beautiful view and it's also a place for hosting events on the island.tourist and visitors are also atrracted to Farley Hill National Park,with restrooms available for both males and females respectively. Come on up and experience a good time,wheather picnic,lime,gospel fest,soca show,reggae on the hill or any event hosted up there..dont miss it

We were on a tour on the beautiful island of Barbados. included in our tour was a stop at Farley Hill Parkwhat beautiful grounds. We learned the history of the fire that gutted the mansion in 1965, 1966 it was turned into as park by The Queen, and the movie 'Island in The Sun' with Harry Belafonte was filmed there. We learned all that and more from our awesome tour guide Shara W.
The mansion was gutted by fire and taken over by Mother Naturetrees are filling the cavity of what once was. 14 cats now live there and as a custodian said "They are the residents now"response / report this review -

Perfect picnic spot. It looks over the island's east coast line. Be aware of the toll which must be paid if entering by vehicle.

This National Park is high up on a hill with stunning views. There is a small entrance fee which it is worth the price. It is a peaceful place covered in tall trees. The views of the east coast is commanding. There is an interesting old plantation house there overgrown with trees. The garden area around it is very nice as well. It was a nice stop on our island driving tour.
