  We have used Drive Barbados twice and both times have been excellent, there representative meets you at the airport and the car is directly outside, the paperwork takes a matter of minutes.
  The cars are clean and come with fuel.
  On returning you simply leave it were you collected from, and they text you to confirm all was ok.
  I would highly recommend them and will be using again very soon.

  Had a horrible interaction with this rental company. Started one price and upon payment was twice the price. No consideration when I made a plea about the original quotation. I feel cheated. Makes me feel never to visit Barbados again.

  Dealing with Mr A Rahman was a pleasure. The car was in good shape. It was economical on gas and served us well.
  The rates were competitive.
  I have no reservations in recommending this business to any one in need of a car during their stay in Barbados.

  I recently rented a vehicle from this company for 10 days in order to get around the island while my girlfriend was visiting. Before deciding on who to do business with, I called around to several different companies attempting to get the price I wanted. This was the best value I could find.
  
  Two things I liked very much: 1) the company delivered and picked up the rental from the site I was staying (Might not apply to east side of the island). 2) Unlike some places I've rented from in the past, as long as you had some gas in the tank (even if less than 1/4) it was acceptable. they didn't require you to match the gas quantity that you received the vehicle with.
  
  One thing I would like to have changed: 1) When I called and decided the "price was right", I asked about rental options. Unfortunately there was only one available. It was a Kia Picante I believe (a doorless Mook style vehicle which looks like a car suited for the beach). I liked the aspect that we could drive without the soft top on and without any doors it made traveling from beach to beach feel even more tropical. However, it does rain in Barbados, and without any doors you're going to get wet. In fact the day that I was dropping my girlfriend off at the airport it was raining rather heavily and some luggage got wet. Also, you're not able to lock any of your valuables in the car without doors so everything must be transferred to the trunk which locks. I'm not sure if normally there are more options available, but I was there during the off season for tourists so I can't imagine there was a huge demand for rentals.
  
  All-in-all, I really enjoyed my experience and customer service exceeded my expectations. Some damp luggage and the hassle of moving valuables to the trunk were small matters compared to the joys of driving a beach car from beach to beach.

  Our car was delivered to our hotel by Abdul and he carefully explained the rental details and gave us tips on places to see.
  
  Unfortunately we had a family emergency and needed to leave Barbados immediately to return home. When I called Abdul to tell him about our dilemma he was understanding and helpful with returning the car to the airport for pick up.
  
  I enthusiastically recommend Drive Barbados!

  Avoid at all cost, seriously.
  Found on their website a 200$/7 day special. Was quoted 447$ for the same thing ! I notified them about this and got the usual politician response " look at quote there is no hidden fees" I then asked to modify my quote without the collision insurance (since it is covered by my credit card) and that I would like to pick up the car one day later due to flight changes. Their response : "sorry we can not help, conflicting information and we are unable to proceed further".
  
  So they refused to rent me without CDW, just a scam to fill their pockets !
  
  Honestly this is ridiculous, just another tourist trap, steer away. I recommend choosing another car rental company, one that you can actually book online to avoid gouging and getting scammed.
  
  Those good reviews are probably made by the owners !

  From the time of the booking till its return, the experience was nothing but professional, friendly and reliable. Was received professionally at the airport and within minutes I was off driving the rental car. The car was in excellent working condition and very clean, although it was an older model. But it worked great for my purpose, was reliable and safe. Definitely recommend using Drive Barbados . Cheers from Toronto, Canada
