Absolutely no complaints. They deliver the car to your hotel/Airbnb/whatever it is (or you pick it up at the airport I guess). The car was fine, and the entire experience smooth. Would rent from them again.

Courteous and efficient service. Convenient location. This is my second time with drive-a-matic and I have had no issues on both occasions. I would recommend to others. It would be nice to have a loyalty program for repeat customers.

The service was brilliant, the rep was early. The car was immaculate and with their pre registration process. completed before we arrived ther was only a couple of signatures and a check round the car. The rep pointed out and noted all scrapes etc and no up-selling. Simply left the keys with the hotel for the rep to collect later. Wonderful service would definitely recommend them.

Excellent rental reservations were especially kind and attentive and found us the car we wanted even though this model was sold out on the island. Delivery was equally well done right to our hotel and car worked very well . We had to change the rental period and it wasn’t a problem. Overall a really good experience.

I've been renting from here for about 10 years now. I've had nothing but great experiences with them. The vehicles are new and clean. Customer service is excellent. My personal favorite is Mrs. Crichlow. Excellent customer service on her part. An asset too the company. Great job as always Mrs. C!

Thank you for the great services at such short notice. I was impressed with the email communication which was prompt and clearly outlined all requirements. The vehicle was exactly as promised and performed great while on island. The customer services was outstanding, representative Sophia made my rental seamless and the airport team was on point. Keep up the great work for 2018.

We were very happy with the company. We rented a car for one day only and they deliver the car on time right to the apartment and next day picked up at the different place. The car was excellent and everything was very easy with them. Thank you! I tried other rental companies to book for one day but they told me to call a few days before my arrival to check. With Drive-A-Matic, I was able to book online for one day without any issues. Excellent company.

Acting on a friend's recommendation I became a loyal customer about 5 years ago. The service is exceptional and is probably why i've used them continually. Absolutely no problem in sending other customers their way. They've earned the 5 star rating.

Love this company. It's the only car rental agency I use when visiting my home in Barbados. The staff is very courteous and has always exceeded my expectations. The rates are great and the vehicles are always clean, newer models and with a full tank of gas. Thanks Drive-A.Matic for always making my travel to Barbados even nicer. See you soon. Valencia Boyce who I believe is the Reservations Manager is phenomenal. Being very careful to find out how many are in my group, ages, etc, to be sure to make the best recommendation in type of vehicle for space, leg room and so on. She's a gem.

DO NOT RENT FROM DRIVE-A-MATIC IN BARBADOS IT'S A SCAM COMPANY!!!
We had the worst and most unpleasant experience with Drive-A-Matic in Barbados, and were definitely left feeling helpless and scammed.
They basically give you crappy cars to rent, and then when it comes to their "inspection" at the end they point out a random scratch or dent on the car and then try to blame you for causing it to get the insurance deductible money from you.
To be fair, the service at first was quite good. The lady that dropped the car off at our hotel was nice and on time, went through the paperwork and car with us, going through the marks on the car etc.
The tiny car we hired cost us USD$112 all up for 1 day and was in pretty bad condition, scratches and dings everywhere, scary stains all over the upholstery, but we thought that was to be expected for a Caribbean rental car company and decided not to fuss with the nice lady since we were only hiring the car for a day.
This was definitely our mistake, as when we dropped off the car, the guy checking our car started pointing out scratches on the UNDERSIDE of the front bumper saying that it was our fault, which we were incredibly surprised at since there were scratches and dents ALL OVER the car when we got it, and we definitely didn't squat down to check and mark off every single scratch or we would have been there all day (and, there is no where on the form to indicate damage to the underside of the car)!
The manager, GREGORY WILLIAMS then came over and rudely told us that basically it was our fault that we didn't check the car properly and that we had signed the contract and therefore had to pay for it. It was clear from all the other scratches and dents on the car that they were never going to fix it and were just doing this to extort money from us, but we had a flight to catch, so to speed things up we said sure fine whatever, how much was it going to cost us to have a few scratches touched up.
Both guys immediately said USD$125, which is not only a ridiculous amount since the front bumper was already filled with scratches when we got it, but we realised it was a scam they run constantly - tell the customer a scratch was their fault, charge them the USD$125 insurance deductible amount, and then never fix anything of course - that was definitely clear from the poor condition of the car! If it had been in pristine condition when we got it, we would have happily paid whatever since it would have been our fault - but it wasn't, we only had the car less than a day and it was like that when we got it.
There was nothing we could do or say, and from the tone of the manager Gregory Williams they had clearly run this scam before and knew there was nothing we could do. Well, taking 20 mins to write this review was the only thing I could do to at least help other travellers not fall prey to the same scam at Drive-A-Matic! It was really disappointing to leave Barbados on this note when we had otherwise had a lovely trip!

DONT BOOK HERE! We rented 3 SUVs, it took 45 to check in a and be able to get keys. One of the cars had problems starting from the beginning. The car didn't even make it back to the airport. We call them and they send a small car instead of an SUV to take us to the airport.of course We didn't fit, luckily the was a taxi close by and the taxi driver took us, we paid for it. When we call to complain and told the manager everything that happened, She replied that my statements were untrue and that the car had no problems. This people are unhelpful and don't care about customers, we spent almost $2500 in 3 cars for a week and top of that I was called a liar when I called to complaint about their unsafe cars.

I have used the car rental company for some years now and I'm very satisfied with the service I get as well as the cars they have. I would recommend to anyone looking to rent a car in Barbados.
