They were great to work with, helped us out with a very large group of people, very patient. Worked hard to get us what we needed. Super hard to find the actual location, no sign, no name on the building and it's out in the middle of nowhere. I was there three times before I realized it was actually the correct location.

Great Car Rental Services in Bridgetown, Barbados
Rented a car from Direct Rentals for five days during my stay in Barbados. On arrival I was met by an agent from Direct at the airport who was very friendly and performed a delivery inspection of our rental car. After signing some documents I was given the keys and was on my way.
Literally five minutes from the airport our passenger side front tire completely lost air and we had to pull over. I immediately called Direct and they dispatched an agent within fifteen minutes to replace the wheel/tire. The agent asked if I hit anything with the wheel and I explained to him that I didn't. He then said not to worry as I wouldn't be charged for the tire.
The next few days were uneventful except for the fact that the car had VERY poor brakes and the front suspension felt like it was falling apart. To my surprise upon returning the car at the airport I was handed a bill for $118. They had charged me for a replacement tire. I explained to the return agent that I would not be accepting this charge and I refused signing any documents. He then told me that was fine and that I would have to speak to "Andy" for any charge resolution.
So the next day I called Andy and explained to him the whole situation. Andy refused to reverse the charge and kept saying it was my fault and that I hit something hard with the tire. I explained to him that this was not the case and we literally drove less than a kilometer from the airport when we experienced the flat. Also, the pre delivery inspection did not cover tire inspection so the tires were not checked for any existing damage from previous renters. He refused to hear any of it and told me he would not reverse the charge.
So much for customer service from a company who has been in business for 35 years. Needless to say I have opened a dispute with my credit card company and will not rent from Direct Car Rentals ever again.
