Really nice beach, white sand and blue calm water. Water sports and boat trips available. You might get hassled a bit by jewelry sellers or water sports people but not too much. If you there early you might get better deals on snorkeling or water sports.

I experienced The Carlisle Bay during my stay at the Radisson Resort. The long stretch of beach shared by several hotels and other establishment also a public picnic and general areas makes up this great beach. Swimming is the Carlisle Bay was a delightful experience for me and I enjoyed the invitingly warm clear and calm waters.

I actually walked on the beach to and from nearby Bridgetown (quicker than taking the roads). The beach is quite popular and I met many beach goers at all times throughout the day. The Carlisle Bay is definitely a great place of interest to visit and enjoy whilst in the Tropical Paradise of Barbados.

The best straight of beach in barbados
Don’t even bother going all the way to crane etc
    This is just the best
    Snorkeling
    Scuba diving
    Water sports
    Jetsking
    Towabels
Or just for a swim in the crystal clear water
And lay on the beach and top up on the tan
Beach chairs and umbrellas available all along the beach roughly about 5usd each
Also has numerous beach bars and food joints

Turtles and shipwrecks here. This is where a lot of the tours stop. You can just swim out off the beach if you a confident enough and you just want to see titles etc. The turtles are very used to humans here and are often being fed, so not the spot if you are after a natural experience. Big long sand beach but very touristy.

We were able to swim with turtles, free dive to sunken tug boats, and enjoy a lovely little beach all in this area. Barbados was fantastic and Carlisle Bay made it so!
