Closer to the park, Batts Rock is extremely rocky and previous weather phenomenons have vastly eroded the beach front. Still, it is decent and enjoyable for a quick dip but not highly recommended. Limited benches make it not so ideal for picnicking.

As the name suggeststhats what you will find once you first step into the waters, but if you're able to get past that, the waters are just great. Nice for lounging and a quick dip.

It is tops for landscape scenic photography on the west coast and also a quaint and sereen picnic spot, which is kinda rare owning to it's close proximity to the busy city.

This is a hidden gem beach. Felt like paradise when we discovered it and enjoyed the day there. We had to return. Great thing is not a lot of people know about this beach!

Lovely secluded beach on the west coast of Barbados. Small vendor store selling drinks and now with a landscaped path down to the beach or via a new road.

Batts Rock and Paradise Beach are neighbours, there was some decent snorkelling opportunities along the Rocky shore in the shallows. We went for the boxing day beach/boat party which was great, and also enjoyed looking at the abondoned buildings in front of the beach.

Nice beach with public washrooms and a lifeguard on duty. Play park for the kids could do with a little upkeep work. Pretty nice snorkeling if you venture out to the reef. It's very popular and can get pretty packed on weekends and holidays.
