The Barbados Ninja Throwdown is the brainchild of Mr Delano Hinds. Mr. Hinds, at 25 years of age is Owner of Gymcoin Gym
The Country Manager of Term Finance Limited,
Owner/Founder of Barbados Ninja Throwdown and Owner of Pressure On Power Washing Services.

Additionally, Delano is an avid Manchester United fan and super-fan of the show American Ninja Warrior. Mr. Hinds was a participant at the American Ninja Warrior series back in June of 2014. The organisers of the show after observing his skills facilitated his travel to the US to compete this grueling obstacle course. Delano was selected to compete for a spot on the “Team World" squad w hich was later changed to "Team Europe". Delano was well on his way as the first Barbadian to debut on the show when he sustained an injury in training rendering him unable to compete. Though heart- breaking, Delano was not discouraged but was proud to have participated in what was a worthwhile experience and a great opportunity.

Since returning to Barbados, he has expanded his businesses and conceptualised the Barbados Ninja Throwdown in an effort to bring the fun and excitement to his country. This breath-taking obstacle course has been built by professionals to international standards and tested by Delano himself. He has also taken great care to ensure that everyone who participates in the challenge has what it takes to do so. “I have taken all the necessary precautions and have tested the obstacles myself, to ensure the safety and strength of these obstacles. The Barbados Ninja Throwdown is the first event of its kind but it certainly will not be the last!”
