Barbadiana Discovered Treasures was born out of a desire to showcase our excellent locally made products and to encourage Barbadians and visitors to discover and use these products.
Our name itself heralds the fact that Barbados has many awesome treasures which are either overlooked by Barbadians, overshadowed by the influx of imported goods or simply not known. It was thought by many and still probably by some, that things bought from overseas are of a higher quality than things made here in Barbados. However, we have discovered that right here in our island we have products that can compete with many international brands and in many cases surpass them in quality. We have also discovered that Barbadian made products can be very competitive in pricing and the value received is worth every penny.
In a nutshell we are here to showcase Barbadian craftsmanship to the world. We know we have only yet discovered a few of the many treasures our gifted Barbadian artisans have to offer.

Wunna evah hear de National Anthem being played by the RBPF Band, dat is chune fuh true. Every time I does hear it muh chest does puff up wid pride. So wuhever part wunna is or whatever yuh do, be it a bram or bacchanal or yuh guh to de beach or parade or if yuh stand home to massacrete some cou cou, stew dumpling or some rice and peas, if yuh is a Bajan by birth, descent or invitement (marriage, citizenship, etc) mek sure to say a prayer for Bim, she has been good to most of us and pray that this cumming 54th year is sweet fuh days.
