The aim of the Barbados Shotokan Karate Club (BSKC) is to provide a positive environment for personal growth through the study of Shotokan karate. This facilitates the development of students who can be productive members of society.

There are a number of qualified, knowledgeable instructors available to guide the student. This includes Shihan (Master level) teachers. It is noteworthy that the club has more persons ranked 5th degree black belt and above than any other karate club in Barbados. These members are certified, not only as instructors, but also as examiners and tournament judges. However, they are not content to rest on their laurels but, instead, constantly strive to further their understanding of karate.

The club boasts a very spacious training facility. it is easily one of the best in the Caribbean. We invite you to come and train with us! Our Class schedule is outlined below:

Monday
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Beginner to Brown Belt
7:15 PM - 8:30 PM BKA Black Belt

Wednesday
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Beginner to Purple Belt
7:15 PM - 8:30 PM Brown & Black Belt

Friday
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Beginner to Purple Belt
7:15 PM - 8:00 PM Brown & Black Belt
