  Great cave and we did have a swim too. Lovely place to spend some time in the restaurant and in children's playground. I wish we had longer time to spend here. Very friendly staff who helped me out with my cut toe (acquired from the walk rather than cave)

  Nice drive to get to it at the very top of the island, fabulous views and sometimes there are whales in the bay. The caves are cool but wear swum shoes as itvis quite rocky when you get down there. A lot of the animal flowers have been washed out due to bad weather but will return once the seas have calmed. Still a cool experience.

  Captivating view. A stunning place to have a not-too-sweet rum punch while watching the waves crash. Absolutely lovely. If you're driving, beware the potholes on the last stretch of road.

  Cave tour was perfect for our family with teenagers. Time to explore, swim and take pictures. A guide takes you down steps to enter cave and then you walk along rocks and he points out different features. A unique spot when visiting the island compared to Harrison's Cave which is more reminiscent of caves in States. If you have to choose one cave, and you can walk over slippery rocks well, choose this cave. Good quality sit down restaurant overloooking cliffs on site. Also, best place to check out "the view" of waves crashing the shore - lots of walking paths to get great photos.

  We visited when we were here from a cruise. A definite must see. The views of the ocean from here are amazing. The cave is incredible. You must mind your steps as it is extremely slippery. Inside the cave you can swim. The water is the perfect temperature. So refreshing. The cost is $20 Barbados for adults and $10 for children.

  SO cool. 27 uneven steps down so be careful if you have mobility issues, but the history and the scenery is absolutely amazing. There's a cost to enter (20 Barbados I believe) but you get a guided tour and a chance to swim in the cave! Totally worth It. The restaurant there is great for lunch as well, beautiful view! Should book reservations when you get there for lunch after the tour though as it gets quite busy!

  The Animal Flower Cave is located at the northern tip of Barbados in the St. Lucy Parish. I have visited the place of interest on several occasions however the rough seas prevented me from gazing at their renown beauty. The rocky coastal cliffs with blowholes and other formations are of interest and definitely worth the visit. There are some supporting buildings with some park benches on the cliff-side and bridges and other structures to make mobility in the area possible for the none rock climber.
  
  The Animal Flower Cave has on-land interest as well however those mesmerizing rough waves crashing against the rocky coastline with the sounds made from that event plus the added sound from the blowholes and the water gushing into the air was spectacular. I really enjoyed my visit to The Animal Flower Cave and was enthralled by the whole scenery and the experience was quite worthwhile and fulfilling.

  Very cool unique place. Very picturesque. Fun, information tour. Bring a bathing suit so you can swim. Not a lot of animal flowers though.

  We heard from quite a few of the Bajans that this was the "must see" place on the island, and one of the top tourist destinations. While it's fun, keep in mind it's just a cave, so if you come with reasonable expectations you won't be disappointed. You pay a little bit of cash (I think 10 US per person), and get to go down some steps with a guide where you walk/swim around in the pools for 10 to 20 minutes. The caves open out into the ocean, so you get some of the spray when the ocean's a bit rough. The on-site restaurant is really nice and has great lunch options. A fun and relaxing way to spend a morning or afternoon, just don't expect to be blown away!

  Must visit while in Barbados. If you have a chance take the cave tour. The view from above is quite stunning and there are a few local vendors selling souvenirs. You can grab a bite here too

  I didn't get to go inside because we just passed through a bit. But I plan to next time. From the outside, it's really beautiful and the scenery breath taking. I'm sure going into the cave would have been an unforgettable experience.

  At the Animal Flower Cave there are friendly tour guides who are very knowledgeable about the cave. There is also a great view of the cliffs and ocean from the inside the caves and outside. You can also swim in the small pools of water in the cave. After your tour of the cave you can sit and relax at the restaurant, where you can enjoy a wonderful meal. Close to the restaurant is a small children play park.

  First visited 18 years ago. Paid to go down into the cave. Very nice. Apparently if you're lucky you can see Huge sharks swimming in the waters off the coast. The guide took us to a small puddle which had 4 sea anemones ( animal flower). The guide touched them and they immediately retractedand then he tells us..that's it for next 20 minutesapparently that's how long it will take for them to come back out.
  Revisited this year (2017) and now there are 6 anemonesi kid you not. The story is the same with the chance to see a shark and take a dip in the pool in the cave.
  The real beauty of this area is actually outside on the cliffs. The scenery is breathtaking. So its not a wasted journeyjust don't go expecting to see many 'Animal flowers'.
  There's a restaurant as well.

  Sort of an interesting place but we found it to be underwhelming. The cave is small and difficult to walk through. If you're on the fence about visiting, take a pass on this one.

  Great trip. Enjoyed the scenery on the way to the cave and enjoyed the breath taking views from the cliffs. The cave was great. Don't go with flip flops. Bring your swim clothes and take a dip in the cave.

  My favorite nature spot on the island. Natural cave with excellent views of the coast. Great for photography. There is a restaurant here and is a popular tourist shop. A bit far from the city so makr sure you have the taxi price before you go.

  A "must see" when in Barbados. Take a walk along the cliffs and admire the scenery and the crashing waves below. If the caves are open head down for a tour and maybe a swim, then have a drink and/or lunch in the restaurant. Make sure you have set aside lots of time for the visit.

  Views were great but if you're going for the "animals"think again. The were four that opened when we were there. Swimming in the pool was an experience I enjoyed and made the trip worth it.

  Beautiful natural cave. If the ocean wave action is not too severe you can visit the cave and swim in the natural pool. The views from the cliffs are astonishing. If lucky you will see turtles swimming below.

  We didn't get to go inside the cave unfortunately as the waves were too high but the dramatic scenes they caused were amazing (waves hitting the cliffs and raising 50 foot into the air) and the visit was great. The reastaurant provided great food and the bar had cold drinks and ice creams. There's also a couple of huts asking souvenirs
