This was the highlight of our Barbados vacations. The actual owner usually does the tour and it is very informative. If you visit Barbados it's definitely worth taking a tour here.

A few years ago we booked a tour at Agapey's old location. My husband and I absolutely loved tasting everything as it goes through each stage, and then the finished products. Over the years Derek has added different flavours of chocolate bars, all with the delicious dark chocolate he makes. We pop into his store every trip, and bring it home as much loved gifts!

My husband and I took a tour and it was amazing. It was the actual owner that gave the tour so he was able to answer any questions we had. We got to sample a lot of different chocolate that they make as well as sample the chocolate at different stages in the process. The owner was extremely friendly. We are both very happy we decided to take a tour and if we return to Barbados we will definitely do it again. You are required to book a reservation ahead of time on their website.

We Booked a private tour at 9:30 and came right in time. Nobody was informed,after 4 emails and a Message at the answer machine the Day before. So we didnt got the tour. The Altenative was to wait 1,5 Hour with our Group of 4 Personen. Untill 11.00

I didn't initially want to go here, and was dragged by my spouse. It ended up being the highlight of our cruise stop in Barbados. The owner was very interesting, and gave an awesome tour of his factory. He was very well spoken and informative. He told us about each step of the process of creating his chocolate, and let us sample the chocolate at each step; from harvest to completed product.

Do you like dark chocolate? If you do, and it's your one true passion in treats, this place is going to make you shiver in delightit's a cacao lovers paradise.no milk chocolate nothing but the really good dark stuff, a bit pricey for locals but i understand that with everything that goes into this labor of love it's priced accordingly. Please, if you have the time or even an inkling of a desire for the good dark stuff, make this a definite visit. As a plus you can see right into the processing area and see the delicious goodness being created and tours are available! The owner is spot on in his knowledge of the craft and his employees, especially Kelly are gems.

I am not a chocolate lover, but having the opportunity to experience how cocoa is transformed from a bitter seed to a magnificent and indulging cream, just blew mi mind completely.
This is not a tour, is a personal experience.
Tasting raw, real chocolate, before it goes to stores, exceeded my expectations.

This tour is definately a rare find. You get to see the art of making real chocolate the old fashion way with rare vintage chocolate machines which was very cool and learning about chocolate was certaining educational. The best part was eating chocolate! A very cheap tour and a must if you are in Barbados.
