Bosnia & Herzegovina is Cevapi capitol of the world. And Cevabdzinica Hodzic has the best Cevapi in the Sarajevo. Fresh and clean meat always. 10/10

In the heart of Baščaršija, the old city of Sarajevo is a restaurant Hodzic with Bosnian meat specialties. The irresistible fresh meat from the local farm is something that is rarely tested. It's best to try a mix of all the specialties to feel the true smack of Bosnian barbecue. A regionally known place that will surely remain in your memory.

I am a big lover of Cevapcici and had them at dozens of places. The ones I ate here were, upon some thought, the best I ever had. Take the biggest portion you can buy and enjoy! The rest of the barbecued food (Sudzukice, skewers) was also delicious, and the bread was fantastic. The waiters are polite and funny and the service great. I can hardly wait to go back to this restaurant!

If there is no God and no hope, there is always Hodžić and his food. One of the best places to eat Ćevap in the Balkans!!! After the visit you can understand Sarajevo more

One of the best 'cevap' style eatery in old town, worth to try, but if you're here, choose grilled liver or sausages instead of cevap.

Casual, reasonable, and tasty. Highly recommended. You're able to see the meat before they prepare it. I had the mixed grill plate which was variety of options. Make sure to get a fresh salad on the side. There are multiple locations in the Old Town area.

In my opinion they own the finest "ćevapi" recipe in Bosnia even. This great place in heart of old town Sarajevo have not changed their deliciousness over 25 years and are going strong now after the nice interior update. It can get crowded sometimes but if you get yourself a seat, no one will push or rush your meal like it is in some similar places in Sarajevo. Friendly staff makes you feel a part of the community that makes the experience all the better. I am glad to come back there every once in a while.

Please try to avoid this place when you are in Sarajevo. Waiting staff is quite rude and even if you ask small bit of ketchup and even for a toothpick forget it because you will not get it.
There are many other places in Sarajevo where you can get better service and value for money so try to avoid it.
If you compare their Cevapcici or anything else you with those of their competitors such us Petica, Mrkva or Zeljo their food as well as customer service is very much behind so my advice to all the visitors would be to avoid this place when you are in Sarajevo.
At the end you will not even get a receipt if you do not ask. Will never visit this place again and those who visit will make a mistake.response / report this review -
