Vrlo zanimljiv podatak iz drugog svetskog rata i trenutka koji do danas nine zaboravljen i stoji da podseti sve na te teske trenutke!

The bust of Vladimir “Walter” Perić – the legendary leader of the Sarajevo resistance movement during World War II – is near Skenderija Bridge, close to the old power distribution center.
Walter assumed leadership of Sarajevo’s underground anti-fascist movement in the summer of 1943. The members of this network carried out many acts of sabotage and attacks on German and Ustashe troops.
On the night of April 5, 1945, Walter was killed during the final battle that was being waged to win the city’s freedom – he and a group of volunteers were defending the power station against the Ustashe who were intent on destroying them even as they began to withdraw from Sarajevo.
He was buried in Spomen Park in Vraca and proclaimed a National Hero of Yugoslavia on July 24, 1953.
The legend of this fearless and courageous resistance leader came to life on the big screen when the Bosnian director, Hajrudin Šiba Krvavac, made the movie, Walter Defends Sarajevo (1972), which quickly became one of the best-loved partisan movies of all time.response / report this review -

这是一座英雄的纪念碑，纪念伟大的瓦尔特。瓦尔特在中国家喻户晓，因为《瓦尔特保卫萨拉热窝》这部电影在特殊的年代占据了许多中国人的记忆。 很可惜，英雄在萨拉热窝正在被逐渐淡忘，我希望不是因为他是一位南斯拉夫共产党员的原因。前台25岁小姑娘虽然经历了波黑内战，但是说她从未听说过瓦尔特，还是她的父亲告诉了我这个位置，让我目睹了英雄的纪念碑。
