Everyone knows this bridge from Ivo Andric novel The Bridge on the Drina. You could have drink in restaurant by the bridge and enjoy the view.

My family and I drove with my cousin and his wife from Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, to Uzice, Serbia to visit my aunt. Being the hydraulic & civil engineering nerd that I am, I was fascinated when I found out about a man-made lake, hydro electric dam, and historic bridge in a town called Visegrad. Luckily, my family needed a break from the drive and we decided to stop for a while and check out the scenery. I'll need to do more research into this town's history since we only stayed there for a few minutes, but I was able to capture a few shots before hitting the road again.

As for the bridge itself - 5 stars, also ride in the local boat was great.
Photography wise - 3 stars due to surrounding buildings - it's hard to get a great angle on the bridge and avoid having a home/building in the background.

It was ~35C that day, and crossing the bridge was not very pleasant mid day.

Beautiful historic bridge surrounded by amazing nature. If you're traveling near Visegrad make sure to stop for an hour to walk the bridge and take nice photos:)

Such a remarkable structure, beautifully designed and built. The green water of the river Drina with inverted image of the bridge gives a soothing experience to the eyes. Definitely worth visiting.
