If you were thinking you visited Stolac but didn't visits the Mak's House then you didn't visit Stolac at all. Highly recommended, after visiting the House you will learn more and it will help you to understand other things in Stolac and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Perfect place for relaxation and spending few days with your phone off. Also it has marvelous cultural background you can enjoy.

A stunning, well appointed little museum dedicated to the author Mak Dizdar and his work. The complex consists of the main house, the courtyard, a separate small gallery and the back garden, all close to the Old town in Stolac. Inside is a great exhibition dedicated to Dizdar with his private belongings, books, manuscripts and related artwork. Definitely worth a visit, but it has to be pre-arranged since it's not open all the time.

Obavezna destinacija za sve one koji se nađu u stolnom gradu na Bregavi. Čuva djela Maka Dizdara, originalne rukopise, lične predmete.. Nije kuća u kojoj je Mak rođen, ali jeste kuća, hiža, u kojoj je prisutan njegov duh. Dođite i uvjerite se da su njena vrata širom su otvorena za sve ljude.
