Nice local food, very authentic, card payment possible. The waiter could be more friendly though
Great location and a historic one, but it could use more engagement to offer something.
This is the worst restauran experience in my life, don't go here. We were waiting for food for 2 hours, in the end it didn't arrive how we ordered it. It is NOT clean, there is a cat walking arround, they are understaffed and unpleasant. I highly recommend to stay away from this place.
Kolobara Han, Sarajevo’s first inn, was built in the second half of the 15th century by the city’s founder, Isa Bey Ishaković. In addition to Gazi Husrev Bey, he was one of the key figures responsible for the look of Sarajevo’s cultural-historical core.
Kolobara Han was a caravanserai and provided accommodation for guests, as well as a place for the merchants’ goods and the horses they traveled with.
It was a large inn, with 40 rooms, and could accommodate 400 people and 35 horses for an overnight stay. Kolobara Han was knocked down in 1935 and only one of the original walls remained intact.
In the 1950s, the space that was once taken up by the inn’s courtyard served as a summer cinema and later as a cafe with a summer garden.
The area now houses a cafe and restaurant with a summer garden, where Bosnian coffee and traditional specialties are served, and there are small shops along the sides that used to be occupied by the han’s outer walls.
Really expansive place (comparing to other similar places in Sarajevo) with very poor menu. Everything you order is just bad! The space looks very bad, waiters are rude, toilet is cold and dirty all in one - avoid this place!!!
Beautiful lively but relaxing and green oasis in the center of Sarajevo. Great food, but beware, the portions can be quite large. Nice coffee. Nice background music. Nice and friendly staff.
We ordered traditional Bosnian food and it wasn't so tasty. The food was ok but could have been more tasty.
Nice garden in the centre of the Old City. Very quite and pleasant.
My father and I ordered some traditional Bosnian food. There was slow service. The food didn't taste too good. In fact my father and I got severe food poisoning for 2 days - so the rest of our time in Bosnia was ruined as we couldn't go out from constantly throwing up and the diarrhoea. Everything was dirty. The oil and vinegar holders were covered in filth. The glasses given alongside our drinks were obviously just held under water and not cleaned. The outside may look appealing with its tropical vibe but there's nothing else to it. They were not accommodating to our needs either.
Good traditional Bosnian food, nice atmosphere filled with plants all around. Fresh sqeezed orange juice was also good. We had Borek and cold plate (which is really large and can feed 2 people, it had 10 pieces of bread). They also offer take away which we took advantage of on the day we were leaving.
A standard Bosnian restaurant but hidden away in a nice cool garden that comes in handy when it's really hot outside and you need a quick bite.
The first restaurant in my life who serves fries 'cold' How retarded can you be. They place pictures of drinks and food on there card but it doesnt even looks like it. Didn't see the price yet, but for this kind of food I wouldn't even pay. I aint a difficult person, but please, give people the food that's on the picture and not some kind of vomit that even didn't resambles to the picture. The service was very fast tho but he couldnlt speak English
Nice spot, reasonable food, but slow service
I was looking for a halal restaurant that clearly states that and found this place on internet. I ate Begova Čorba (soup) and Klepe (damplings) which tasted really good. Especially that soup was awesome! Free wifi, a nice big garden covered with trees, some music playing on the record- it was a great ambiance. The waiter tended me was very kind and attentive. Liked it!
The food is excellent and the waiting time was very short. Very friendly host willing to help with dish choices. English was not perfect but the communication was easy and relaxed. The location and ambiance is overall good.
peacefull and quiet, lovely for sitting outside even in late autumn
service quick and very friendly
excellent local food
Fantastic place to have a coffee, especially outside. The location itself is simply legendary, and gives you a true taste of Sarajevo.
Great local food. Realy good ćevapi! A bit expensive though, but it is worth it.
Great local food and useful recommendations from the server.
Fresh and extra tasty.
Not so good drinks - local ones but not on my taste.
