If you are visiting Banja Luka, Kastel is something you cannot miss. Loads of events during summer.

We were there in winter time. Not many visitors. The castle looked deserted, was not yet renovated. Be walked through the main building. The view behind it, by the Vrbas river was stunning.

The fortress is a very nice place to visit, with the view on Vrbas river. Inside the fortress there is also a very good restaurant "Kazamat". The decor is all medieval and the food is amazing! The staff is also very nice :) Recommend it!

Situated in the walls of Turkish fortress /from Otoman era period) above the beatifull and always green Vrbas river - Kazamat serves refined food combining domestic and international taste. Must visit while in Banja Luka.

Cool part is it's a 14th century castle. 🏰 Bad part, it was built during the reign of the Ottoman empire.

I just could visit from outside because there were a festival inside and the entrance was not allowed. Nevertheless it looks very nice and relatively well preserved.

Amazing place, and amazing events are there like Demofest (battle of bands) and Freshvawe amazing DJ s come every year and its also amazing place to chill.
