We travelled on a day rip to Lukamir Village while staying in Sarajevo. There were only the two of us plus the driver and guide. The scenery was spectacular on top looking out over the ravine. We had lunch cooked for us with all food being locally grown. The village women knit using the local wool and sell to tourists. The cheese is made from sheep's milk. There are no shops and it is a wonderful experience I would highly recommend. Note that this was not a hiking tour, other companies run those.On the way back we stopped at the ski resort where some of the 1984 Winter Olympics were held.

We had an amazing trip to Sarajevo and a lot of that was down to our guide with Sarajevo Insider, Senad Fazlic. It was so great to hear the perspective of a local who could talk about the places we visited and their history through personal stories. I don't usually like organized tours but this was great - it felt very personal, authentic, I learnt a lot and really loved our visit. Highly recommended!

Davvero bello! Ho fatto una gita tematica di 3 ore sulla storia dell'assedio. Il ragazzo che ci ha fatto da guida è stato davvero bravo ed ha raccontato molte cose interessanti. Era compreso anche l'ingresso ai tunnel. Provate e non ve ne pentirete.
