My wife and I stayed only one night, but overall experience is great.
Hotel is very close to airport, 5 min easy walk, so you dont need to take taxi to get there.
If you want to go to Downtown of Sarajevo bus station is also 5 min walking distance where you can take direct bus to Downtown and BasCarsija.
Hotel is new, clean, very well maintained. Room was in excellent condition, quiet, clean, cozy. In morning, before a flight, we had very good breakfast, rich and delicious.
Owners are very nice, calm and kind, always willing to help.

Surprisingly amazing hotel. I really did not expect this level of service nor cleanliness.
Everything was perfect, from the hosts to the room!
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Comment on a previous review from Dragica: Decoration is not bad. It's decorated based on Bosnian culture and it's decorated perfectly. I personally don't think it's fair rating this great hotel (where hosts are trying 100% to make guest's stay as great as possible and rooms are spotless) 3 stars based on such a wrong impression (my two cents).response / report this review -

Very friendly owners. Newly installed lift for the higher floors. Clean, comfortable and spacious room. This hotel is the first one I had seen better than the online pictures. Enjoyed our stay there very much.

Clean and spacy, but badly decorated rooms and dining space. Avarage guality food. It is few minutes on foot to the airport. People that run it were really nice.

“Highly recommended!!!”
Usually hotels or hotel management upload much better photos than the hotel is in reality BUT not in case of hotel Octagon Hotel has beautiful/warm ambient which we expect from at least 4 star hotels, clean & spaces room, delicious breakfast, fast WiFi and more than 50TV program's (if you really need them) Location is perfect Just 2 min walking (!!!) from Sarajevo Airport (rooms have extremely good soundproofing so you don't hear planes)12KM (6€) away with taxi from city center,on the way to Bjelasnica Ski Resort and 2km from highway What more can we expect from 3 star hotel??? Excellent place Right by the airport. I was surprised by the level of luxury that it had. The place is definitely a 5 star hotel
Here with the family before an early flight, will be back again!

Lovely hotel. Great for business trips as it's close to airport and early flights. Good connections to downtown. But it is also family friendly and I am planning to return with
my kids and enjoy cevapcic some more.
