Free to wounded around. Nice lobby area with bar service and another bar through a corridor. Just sat down and used the free WiFi.

I have been for several times here, and every thing seems so fine and so clean. The building was constructed during the Olmpic games in Sarajevo, not so contemporary but nice. Breakfast is rich and delicious and the staff very helpful and friendly..

Very surprised this survived during the war in the 1990’s… to the point that it’s still able to be comfortable to relax or sleep at all in one of the rooms inside of that particular Holiday Inn hotel, like it might be very easy in there or sleep…

Central location, very friendly staff and the rooms are very spacious. It comes with a nice traditional breakfast however there are malls and restaurants nearby if you wanted something different. Only downside for us was the pool was closed for rennovating but otherwise the room was very warm in winter.

Old hotel in central part of Sarajevo. Nice for meetings, seminars, workshops and similar events. Close to city center (15 minutes walking)! Some visitors told me that rooms are cold during the winter so check it before booking!

Pros:
- Spacious clean room
- Great location close to shopping malls.
Cons:
- No TV guide list.
- AC is not central and noisy even when turned off!
- No bath tube or place to put shampoo & body lotion when having shower.
- No coffee & tea making kit.
- The space between door and floor was huge so the room is not dark enough when sleeping (good for women 😁).
- Breakfast is not rich and if you come late you will miss fruits.response / report this review -

The premises are a bit outdated, but the service is outstanding as well as the cleanliness level. Stationed near the city but not in the middle of noise and rush.

Not for internationals and large groups due to poor organisation. The hotel was late with check in for 2 hours and eventually they gave me a room which was not clean. Very unprofessional in communication at the reception with ladies rolling their eyes. In sum, never again here.

Odnedavno u vlasništvu grupacije hotela "Europe" sa vrlo ambicioznim vlasnikom koji radi na oporavku hotela, kako njegovog fizičkog izgleda, tako i ugleda. Meni se sviđa veliki ulazni hol sa suncobranom, koji simbolizuje cirkuski šator, u kojem se nalazi kafić. (Prije nego što je sagrađen hotel, na tom mjestu su bivali locirani cirkusi prilikom gostovanja u Sarajevu.)

The hotel is an important symbol of Sarajevo, architecturally and historically. It is designed by the architect Ivan Shtraus, and built for the Olympic games in 1984, and has specific artistic expression. The design represents mix of traditional houses with yards and contemporary design.
During the siege many journalists stayed at the hotel and sent the reports to the rest of the world from there
Now most of the rooms are renovated and nicely furnished. Breakfast is very good, they even have gluten free bread. The only bad thing was that they still renovated some floors, and in August 2016 it was very noisy and impossible to sleep after 8:00 in the morning. So if you go there ask about the construction works.response / report this review -
