Little, simple, but elegant mosque in Jajce town. We're in Jajce on the way from Banja Luca to Sarajevo. It's walled town. Bosnian kings was reign here.
The mosque facade is white. Wooden carved mihrab and mimbar are stunning. I like the chandelier very much. There're some tombs outside the building. The Sardivan was being renovated at the time.response / report this review -

Esma Sultania was the wife of the Bosnian governor Mehmed Pasha Muhsinovic and built this mosque and two bridges on Vrbas. Mehmed Pasha Muhsinovic was the Bosnian governor on two occasions - the first from 1760 to 1763, and the second time from 1770 to 1772. Years. In the place of today's Esma Sultania mosque there used to be a mosque, which, according to the tar above the portal, erected the bag of Emir Mustafa's boots 1749/50. years. This mosque is one of the last built mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina covered by the dome.
Esma Sultania mosque was completely demolished in 1993. All fragments were removed from the location and taken away in an unknown direction. It was renewed in 2010.response / report this review -

Ova lijepa džamija izgrađena je 1753. upravo na mjestu nekadašnjega svetišta Crkve bosanske u Jajcu.
Dali su ga izgraditi su plemići Hrvatinići u 14. stoljeću.
U punom sjaju crkva je bila u vrijeme vlasti Hrvoja Vukčića Hrvatinića (oko 1350. - 1416.). On je bio grof od Jajca, veliki vojvoda bosanski, knez Donjih kraja, hrvatski ban (podkralj), župan vrbaske županije i herceg splitski.response / report this review -

Great place for praying! Always OPEN and has proper toilets, wodo room and parking area.
