From start to finish the team at Dollar Thrifty Sarajevo Airport were excellent . The car was perfect in an excellent condition and the hiring process wonderfully easy, all the staff were professional and the stand out staff member was Daro with his professionalism and good humor. I would most definitely recommend will use them again .

I complain about this impure Thrifty Rent in Sarajevo.

I rented a car from Sarajevo airport and returned it to Dubrovnik. I paid for full insurance for 4 days.
After I returned the car, they charged me full amount of deposit on 14th of FEB. (350KM Bosnian money).

I complained this and they said there was damage at the bottom part and this part is not covered by insurance but they didn't tell me the details.
They have no clue to prove that damage.
If they wanted to charge or prove it, they had to be in the office and checked together when we returned the car. In addition, I paid extra for the full cover insurance in case of this happening.

I can't understand this situation at all.

All offices in the Dubrovnik were closed at 5 am. I just dropped the key and documents into the Thrifty office because they asked me to do that. I was curious how come this thing is possible for rental car company?
When I called them and messaged them to ask about returning car, no answered at all! they are always skipping work?

These people are totally irresponsible and I strongly demand the deposit refund.

When we landed in Sarajevo airport we were looking for renting a car. We didnt have any reservation so we ask every car rental counter. All the companies gave us very high price, because we didnt reserve it before. But not at Dollar & Thrifty company, they give us very competitive price to reservation prices and also gave us free additonal items, such as gps & additional driver. The stuff was very kind and helpful. Since we visit Bosnia for the first time they answered to our all questions and point us to some very good places and restaurants.

When we will come back, we will definitely rent with Dollar & Thrifty again.

Very favourable prices, I am specifically surprised with the possibility of dropping off the vehicle in other countries, for much lower price than with other rent a car companies. When I need a vehicle in future, I will for sure make reservation at your company.
