Very good food and the service! We were the group of sports workers who stayed at the guest house that was within this great restaurant in old town. The breakfast was included in the price and was very good, but the dinner we had for 2 nights was even better, the best quality, especially considering the value! Recommended for the groups, but also for the families and couples who seek for the good and not too expensive dinner at perfect location next to the river!

Great food and service!
Our last day visiting Sarajevo, we had dinner at Bazeni.
We were a bit sceptical when we arrived, because it's a huge restaurant, but only a few tables where seated.
The owner, or a really nice waiter, welcomed us. We had called him to tell him that one in our group was celebrating her Birthday. He had decorated the table so nice, and even bought a present.
The service, the food, the atmosphere was absolutely great. We had mixed meat, and everything was really good and tender.
Definitely worth a visit, when in Sarajevo.response / report this review -

Beautiful restaurant with scenery! This place was just lovely with amazing scenery. I enjoyed in dinner with my wife on the terrace overlooking the nature and river. The food was great, very well prepared, especially fish specialty and hakes. Service and the value was great!

Very good place to eat some quality food! This place was very nice for our group of friends to eat some good grilled food and various fish specialties. It was very well prepared food and the price was more than decent! The restaurant is perfectly located in old town and it is placed just next to the river! Some of the waiters are not good with English, but others speak it very well, so it is not hard to order.

The restaurant was not like the other common restaurants, not so attractive from outside, but it's interior is so interesting with real huge old tree that is growing through inside, and places next to the windows where you have lovely views over the lake, especially from the terrace, it’s unique. It is placed next to the River and has warm atmosphere. Even though it was almost empty when we came (probably because it was not a high season), we did not regret by coming inside. The service was good, friendly waiter who doesn’t speak good English, but with the help from the Owner who was there, he understood everything. The food was GREAT, plate “Bazeni” was delicious with different types of meat, and the Owner also called us domestic rakija! I would recommend this place if you are looking for some unique warm place with quality food and very good price!

Tu smo slavili novu godinu i sigurno je bio zadnji put. Pjevači nisu znali pjesme pjevat kako treba. Svirač 0. Pjevač - 1. Pjevačica - 2. Bilo je teško slušat da budem iskren. Hrana je bilo za bacit. Naš konobar je skoro svaki put nam doneo pogrešne piće. Kafu smo naručili i to je bilo sramota. Nemam ništa ljepo reć za Bazeni.
This year we were in Sarajevo and decided to celebrate the new year at this restaurant. This was also the last time we will be visiting this place. The live music was absolutely atrocious. The singers didn't know the songs they were singing. The bathrooms they have to offer are actually outhouses. Embarrassing. The waiters got our order wrong almost every time. We ordered coffee and got a watered down excuse for an espresso. Unfortunately I have nothing nice to say about it. Definitely do not recommend it.response / report this review -

Nice, big place with a view towards an artificial lake on Miljacka river. Friendly waiters, good and fresh local food, not great wine list, but it has all basics, with moderate prices. Occasionally, there is a live music.

Waiter ignored us and prefered to serve other non-foreign guests. It took a long time until drinks were served. When we ordered, the waiter claimed the meal we would like to order is not availablehe remained silent and left the table. We left the restaurant.
Finally we visited the city center of Sarajevo. There we ate in an excellent restaurant in the Muvekita street near the swedisch embassy.response / report this review -
