Loved the place. Its the best in the quite town of Shaki. Nice staff. Nice breakfast. Close to shops. Best location.

Great place to relax. There are many monuments of the cultural and historical heritage of Azerbaijan around.

One of the few sights for tourists in Sheki. Large grounds with curio shops, resturants, cafes and green park spaces for the kids. Things start winding down towards sunset and its best to get there earlier in the day to see all the architecture etc.
Perhaps Shekis one redeeming feature for my family. The city in general has some ancient character but on a whole can be missed unless one has a local with deep knowledge of the history of the city etc. Downtown Sheki has a few resturants but youll struggle to find people who speak much english.response / report this review -

Nice rooms at a good price, but they did try to cheat us at first. I think the l because we were American tourists they didn't think we'd either know they were charging us too much, it wouldn't day anything. When confronted however they quickly made it right.

A must see small castle. Fantastic interior. Unfortunately taking pictures is prohibited. Small gift market and ethno museum are nearby. The winter castle is not far away and there photos allowed.

This is the main historical building in the city so it's a must to visit. I recommend the guided visit in your language because there are several details you can't understand just watching. By the way it looks amazing inside much more than outside.

Good place to explore if in Sheki. There is museums, restaurants, the main palace and small bazaar to buy souvenirs.

Achtung/attention - most of the pic's in google maps of this sight are a little misleading. Many of these pictures actually are not a part of the Khans Castle Area. Viele Fotos hier betreffen nicht das Burgareal und den Khanspalast. Der 'Turm' zum Beispiel befindet sich an der südwestlichen Ecke des Areals, vom Eingang aus gesehen hinter dem Veranstaltungszelt. Im Palast darf nicht fotografiert werden, in der 'albanischen Kirche' befindet sich ein Museum. Wer mit einem Rundgang um das Areal ausserhalb der Burgmauern beginnen möchte, was durchaus empfehlenswert ist, sollte festes Schuhwerk anziehen und die Hanglage bedenken.
