Not as pink as some pictures. It is most probably getting pink due to the content of salt during mining. So it's probably npt always pinkish. When we went there it's more brownish than pink. And not sure also, where the particular location around this big lake, to see the scenery of real pink colour as some photos posted shown. Tough to go there with public bus. Need 2 busses each way 1.5hr journey time allow more for traffict congestion. One bus with baku card, the other need to pay with coins 0.25manat.
