It's worth a look when you are around and it's free.
One of unusual hotel when I stayed ever. These palace was constructed 300 years ago and nowadays it's hotel.
Upper caravanserai extended 6.000m2. Although the Great Silk Road ceased to exist in the 18th century, some of its segments were active and builders tried to create the best possible conditions for the development of commerce.
Nice simple rooms, no tv or airco in our suite
Unbelievable hotel, wonderfully restored. Can't describe the feeling to stay in this old building. It worth the price just for a visit, so I guess this is the best solution for a night in sheki. It also has an in house restaurant which is a good solution for dinner (unfortunately they don't serve alcohol).
Nice historical hotel, operated since 500 years, and still functioning.
You have to visit.
The building and the location are worth the visit, you can really feel the history of the place.
However, the rooms are very spartan. Do not expect the least comfort or luxury. Dirty bathrooms and dark rooms.
Avoid the 20 manat tea, you have many places around where you can have it for 3 manat!
Nice and cooler place to visit in summer. Free of charge.
Beautiful place! Even if you're not staying there it worth to go inside just to look at the place.
Historic castle style hotel on the silk road with parking for caravans. Nice rooms with good rates: 30 manat for standard room and 50 manat for luxury suite. Beautiful garden and good restaurant. Wonderful experience of the past.
Try delicious "Piti" there and ask them to mix meat for you and put soup in separate bowl.
Beautiful palace, go and have a look even if you don't stay there for the night in one of the hotel rooms
One of the must visit places in Sheki. Historical building converted to hotel.
Nice and historical place to visit, however food in restaurant is average
Hotel terrible but the karvansaray museum itself wonderfull
A historic building converted to a hotel.
I loved my stay in Sheki and a big part of that was this place. My room was large and comfortable, if a bot dated but still clean and pleasant. The small restaurant served a reasonable breakfast and the staff were pleasant. Enjoyed walking the grounds in the evening, there was a wedding or some sort of party in the adjacent park. If I go back this is my first choice in where to stay.
