  I have visited Finnegans several times over my 8 years in Baku. I can remember the former location and how energetic the bar was it was a true center for expats in Baku. Since the move (2008?) the pub just has never really gained back its notoriety. I have never managed to stay longer than 2 beers as I have found it to simply be boring and lacking of any positive vibes. Getting a drink can make one feel as if you have resorted to beggary the service with a smile concept has not permeated the staff. The food is acceptable as pub fare, but there is better in nearby locations (see my other reviews).
  
  I wanted to give 2 stars but opted for 3 as Finnegans is not a bad bar it just does not do anything for me. There must be some people that do like it particularly I have heard people suggest Finnegans is kept in business by the live bands on the weekends.
  
  Drink prices are normal. Working girls presence is minimal and not noticed. So, the bottom line is that if you enjoy a live band with your drinks then Finnegans may be a good fit on the weekends.

  Probably quite good and I went in on a quiet day, but the atmosphere didn't seem too welcoming. The beer was good though

  It has good reference from my Scottish colleagues, but it's not my style. Try "Room" in the parpendicular street if looking for something different.

  Paid 50 manat and asked the barwoman to bring me some beer. Waiting for the beer and my change, I turned back to listen to the music. In a minute I asked the barwoman to bring me my change and she claimed that she put it on the bar table. I said that you didn't care about delivering the change back to my hand, so please clarify where is my money. She refused in aggressive manner and said that I should take care about my money by myself. Another barwoman asked me to apologize though it was their mistake.
  I found my money by myself and by a visitor's help: it was taken by a man who thought that it was his change, but my mood was spoiled by the personnel's boorish and aggressive behavior. Very bad!

  Smoky, noisy and also expensive! But offers many variety of beers. Good interior.
