  Elmlər Akademiyası is a Baku Metro station. It was opened on December 31, 1985. It is named after the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (Azerbaijani: Azərbaycan Milli Elmlər Akademiyası) which is nearby.
  
  Baku metro, which was put into operation on November 6, 1967 is the public urban transport system linking underground railway lines in Azerbaijan.
  The current metro lines of 36,63 km length, consist of 25 stations on 3 lines, an electrical depot and technological corps (building) where the administrative apparatus is located as well.
