  5 Star Hotels in Azerbaijan don't always mean 5 stars. I would definitely classify this resort as 5 stars. The staff are incredibly courteous and helpful. The food at the in-hotel restaurant is pretty good. The cost of the room includes the use of pools, saunas, free water in room (that's unique for Azerbaijan) and a very nice breakfast. They also have a bowling alley, pool/ping pong hall and arcade. The only problems we had were that the heated tiles in the bathroom were too warm and the indoor pool was kept at 95F (35C) yeah, that's right they keep the pool at bath temperature. It would be much better at 75F, but it was still fun.
