    it depicts the real identity of Arran land (Azerbaijan) and the structure of fire temple is the base for latter Islamic mosques!

    good place to give a visit, ..
    easy way to access : from Qara Qarayev metro station take the bus no. 191, and stop at the temple itself ( Atesgah mabadi ) which is around 25 min ( = 16 stops ) ..

    The last indian zoroastrians were seen there by famous french writer Alexander Dumas and written in his travel stories about Azerbaijan.

    This is not a Hindu temple, Hindu ppl never managed to get any congregation in Azerbaijan. It is an old Zoroastrian temple (we call it Fire temple) and at some point in time most of the Zoroastrian fled for India, which is why now they can be found mainly in India. Zoroastriansim has nothing to do with Hinduism.
