They have the best damn food 🍲
Awesome family owned fish place in Aruba. You must definitely get your money's worth! Been to this place on my last 2 trips to Aruba. Very friendly and excellent quality food!!
I liked the food it was good and the servers were nice. My food wasn't bad but only complaint is the price. Everything costs more than it did at other places.
Great casual place to go and eat. Although the attached picture doesn’t seem like a top culinary dish, I must say that everything was delicious!!! We had the Ceviche & coconut shrimp for starters and then we both had the catch of the day. I had them making me a special sauce for the fish- coconut mango which was SO GOOD I am going to start making this at home. They have a nice selection of wines mostly from Chile and a fair price. I would skip the desserts altogether.
Whatever you order, don't order the salad! I ordered the shrimp ceasar salad, because I wasn't that hungry. When the food arrived, I literally got a plate of lettuce with some shrimp on top.
They charged me 7 dollars for the lettuce and 9 dollars for the shrimp!
Like, I know a Ceasar Salad supposed to be simple but, dang, for 7 dollars you couldn't throw in a tomato and some cheese?
I get better salads at the Macdonalds for less. This was a rip off. And I would never eat here again.
5 stars for the food. The red snapper was great. It came with rice, fries, coleslaw, and a friend banana.
2 stars for stars for the speed. There were only two other tables when we went there and it took over 45 mins to get out order to us.
Delicious food, expertly prepared. Our server, Gina, took great care of us. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Hands down best local food on the island. Ask for their 'Pan Bati'
Good food (was catch of the day, hmmmm) and good service.
Carlos took care of everything. Amazing dinner and experience. The whole staff took care of us and we would be back every time we are on the island. Even the chef came out to say hi. My best dinner in 10 days, hands down
I've visited the Island twice and had the opportunity to enjoy a tasty family dinner both times. I had the Mahi Mahi last weekend and it was very fresh. Our venezuelan waitress was awesome and very welcoming. I'll make sure to stop by during my next visit. This place was also recommended to me by a couple of locals when searching for key spots to eat in.
Absolutely the worst food in all of Aruba. We Loved every place except this one. A local sent us there. Over priced and the food was just plain bad. Very very much below average at best!
It took them one hour to serve our food, even though we were only 2 of us. The pasta was cold, the other dish was luke warm. Both tasted nothing special. They also forgot about the cocktails we ordered, we had to remind them. They have WiFi but they don't provide the password.
My family and I tried this restaurant and I can't recommend it much, some plates where good some others ok. Plates are small for the price. Instead, go to que pasa. Better restaurant, food and service.
Good local food. Friendly and good waiters. Ver good price.
It is not a pretentious restaurant with some authentic Aruban charms. The seafood was well prepared and the waiters were friendly. The food portion is generous, and the prices were reasonable. We plan to stop by there again for lunch before we head back home!
Went here with two others for a casual lunch. Good selection, and variety of drinks. But, the service was disrespectful. After our order was taken, we waited over 45 minutes for our food. The original waitress that took our order did not notify us that it would be taking longer because of the chef's mistake and never talked to us after we brought up with the male waiter there that three other parties had received their food even though we had ordered first. One of my friends left and the food came after near an hour of waiting. Me and my other friend stayed behind and ate the food, which was okay at best nothing special or worth the price, and refused to pay for our other friends meal. Upon bringing it up to the manager, who was defensive and demeaning, after she checked that we were right and three others got their food before us, sent the male waiter with a revised check for us with no apology. My problem lies with the fact that if the waitstaff was more considerate of how we were waiting for so long or within that hour window had informed us that the food would take a while, we would've been more understanding (but still not happy). The unprofessional behavior of our original waitress who never said a word after taking our order, the lack of customer service displayed by the manager and the immaturity of passing on a situation that shouldn't have been his main problem to a relatively friendly male waiter who had to deal with angry customers that weren't his own combined made this an unsettling and disappointing experience.
This place is delicious, has small feel to it but dishes are amazing! Staff is very friendly and with a good sense of humor as well.
Great food near the town center. The service was good too.
Our last night in Aruba, we went here for a friend's birthday dinner. I was interested in the nightly special menu, the main course and dessert sounded good, but as I don't eat Cesar salad, I requested a substitution to a garden salad (with me gladly paying the same price despite a garden salad being $usd less), unfortunately I was denied by the manager after several minutes of discussion. That was somewhat confusing and disappointing, so I had a pasta dish instead, it was decent. The service wasn't very fast or attentive, and we were 1 of 4 tables in the restaurant at the time, but they were friendly. My other 3 companions weren't thrilled with their meals either.
