So worth it! I recommend you stay in the hotel for a couple of nights cause the tickets for the island are expensive.

Came for my birthday and this place is phenomenal! Best beaches in the world. Flamingo island is awesome, you get to feed and interact with the flamingos and take amazing pictures.

Relaxing atmosphere as it is a private island and only hotel guests and spa guests have access to the island. The food was tailored to USA Americans (lack of) taste, so the menu is not amazing. Other than that, I do not recommend buying a day pass for the island if you are not a hotel guest. Instead book a massage at the spa and you are guaranteed automatic entrance to the island. There are about four or five flamingos in total. The hotel cuts their feathers so that they do not fly away. It is kind of depressing, actually. There are also iguanas on the other side of the island. They were currently building new private huts on the family part of the island, so the massage was actually not as relaxing due to all the construction noise. Anyway, it was an experience but I would not go again.
