Pinchos has an amazing ambience. Very peacefull and delicious food. Relax and enjoy, you can experience a one of a kind dinning. Especially at night the pier has lights that make it very nice.

We were at Pinchos two years in a row. The first time was just for drinks but we made a point to go back the following year because the staff was just wonderful. They added and extension to accommodate more patrons. The food is amazing! The sangria is delicious and the staff is unbelievable. You gotta go!

My wife and I fell in love here 11 years ago. Today we cam back with my son, daughter and nanna. The food was good but the service was terrible and the waiter rude. Had to ask multiple times for a high chair. Our entree's came out at different times and my son was done his dessert 10 min before I received mine after asking for the bill. We have another reservation for just the two of us but we might just cancel and go somewhere else. I get the feeling because I brought my family here and we not just a romantic couple we were ignored.

Great dinner location to watch the sunset/chill on the docks at night. The lighting they have along the restaurant is great at night is also a must see. For a place over the water it feels very elegant.

What a great place! A little off the beaten path but worth it. We had an extraordinary meal, my wife had a very good strawberry daiquiri. The service was top notch but not stuffy. The location was great for the view and the staff fed the fish between the piers, so there was always something to look at.

We ate hear several times on our trip to Aruba. Our innkeeper recommended it, and we loved it. We told our friends about it when they went to Aruba. They loved it as well!

Very good selection of food. The lobster was great, their bread was amazing, the rice awesome, the drinks are tasty and made just right (not watered down). I was happy to find this place. It's also on the water, on a pier. Very nice atmosphere.

This restaurant is located on the water which provides a scenic view of the ocean and a romantic ambiance at night. Not too pricey and the meal is well prepared and satisfactory. I've been to this restaurant twice in the two years I've been to Aruba and I'll keep going back.

Great great great dining experience. My wife's favorite place on Aruba. Super knowledgeable staff coupled with outstanding food & island drinks make for a great night out. Kids love feeding the fish around 8PM.

I wanted to love Pinchos and I barely even liked it. Very disappointing birthday dinner.(but we had a great make up dinner at Texas de Brazil the night after!)

It began when we arrived. They did not have a reservation however they did seat us. We requested a table closer to the edge and we're told that those were for larger parties. Was a lie several of the tables were for two people the same as what we were sitting at.

We attempted to order an appetizer and were told that since they had two seatings that day we should all the entire meal all at once. This was for their convenience. Needless to say we decided we didn't need an appetizer.

Drinks were fine nothing exceptional.

We both are in Seafood we were told we had no choices with that it would automatically be served with rice and vegetables even though we would have preferred potato.

We then asked a total of three times for more bread something was finally brought to us with the comment "there was a miscommunication".

This is another restaurant where an automatic 15% gratuity is added to the bill. Diners are encouraged to leave more. We typically tip 20% always thought this was very poor service not at all customer friendly. We regretted that we had to leave 15%.

The wahoo was fine. Salmon was fine. The rice was cold. The veggies overcooked.

The sunset was spectacularbut it is anywhere on the island. We won't be back.

This is a great restaurant, the kitchen is outside and you can see how they prepare the food. It is built on the water, so the tables are like off the pier. If they have Wahoo, get it. However, the fish is catch of the day, fresh, and expertly done.

Very good good but very slow service. We sampled lots of things and loved the calamari and pumpkin soup-but we were also not in the mood today stick around for two hours, as it was the day we'd arrived.

Disfunction at its best! They serve the food at different times to people in the same group so some are finishing their appetizers before others even begin to get theirs. Same thing with the main course ! I'd like to comment on the food but I never got to eat it. My Main course came out AFTER the other 9 people FINISHED THEIR MEALS and so out of courtesy to my friends, I told the Chef to eat it! That was only the beginning. we waited at least a half hour to try and get a check, then the checks were all wrong( items added indiscriminately all over the checks).
They went back 4 times to correct them and we FINALLY got them corrected AFTER a ONE hour wait !!!!!The management here sucks and NEVER came out to apologize. At the next table, a group of women were sitting. The chair leg got stuck in one of the open slats in the shaky deck, and the chair flipped onto the floor. No Fault of hers. Instead of being concerned with her health and safety, they told her that she probably had too much to drink!
She was absolutely sober. Horrible just horrible, NOT what we expect on this great island!

We ate here on our last night in Aruba. The food and the service was excellent. The view was very nice as was the ambiance. We will eat here again on our next visit. Reservations are recommended.

I rarely post to this board, but feel I should alert others to a really bad experience we had at Pinchos last night. I apologize for the length of this, but it was just one thing after another. We were with a group of 10, so sometimes service may be a bit slower. However, this service was completely unacceptable. First the waiter insulted one female by telling her first she looked like a movie star, only to say she looked like MRS Doubtfire. Our drink orders took about 25 minutes. We were never offered refill of water. We waited over 30 minutes for appetizers. Then the waiter informed some of our party that they had run out of conch fritters. Since one couple had ordered 2 orders, they would not be getting one order. He asked the male about a different appetizer, but not the female. Appetizers finally came out, and neither of the two got conch fritters. Finally flagged down the waiter and asked about the rest of the appetizers. We were told that was all of them. Another 25 minutes and we got our main order, which was good. Once we finished, it was another 25 minutes for checks. We were never asked about dessert or coffee. Of 5 checks, 3 were completely incorrect. The couple with the appetizer problem, talked to the manager about removing the service charge. He said he could not. No one even came by to pick up the checks. Finally, one person went to the manager and he came to get them. They kept our credit cards over 30 minutes and finally we all went up. The 3 incorrect bills were never completely corrected. The manager finally said he would remove the service charges, but when the cards were run through, that person would not remove the service charge. We were there over 3 hours, watched people come and go with no problems. Needless to say, we will not go there again. And anyone that does should expect a LONG dinner and carefully check their bills.

I was disappointed in my experience. It was my wife's birthday and I let the waitress know. Just about all the restaurants I have visited in my life have put out a complimentary cupcake or something at the end of the meal to celebrate. I was informed that I had to select and purchase a pricey dessert on the menu to make this happen. First disappointment. I ordered four cocktails through the dinner to try and loosen up a little. Unfortunately, they forgot to put any alcohol in them. They were lovely in presentation, but that's about all. Second disappointment. The food was tasty, but barely warm when it arrived and mostly cool before I could finish itand not because I am a slow eater. Third disappointment. The restaurant setting was nice and the view over the water was very nice. To top off the experience, a person a couple of tables away must have paid for his dessert and got a little sparkler stuck into it for somebody's birthday. I did not pay for the dessert as a matter of principle. I think it should have been complimentary, especially considering the bill. I go to Aruba every August, and go out to dinner a number of times, and have never had an experience like this. I also have never written a bad review about a restaurant. Actually I have only written one other, and that was because it was so good I was inspired to comment positively. My review here is because it was so disappointing. I will never go back to this restaurant.
