I have been gong to Matthew's two to three ties during my stay in Aruba for the last 16 years. the last time i was there was most disappointing. Our waitress was pleasant when she greeted us. It was during happy hour and was not to busy took our drink and food order and never saw her again. I had to get our napkins, our second drink and had to have someone else get our bill. The food was good but the service was the worst i have ever had there. Will i go back? Not any time soon.

They have a beautiful location right on the water. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We were there on Easter for their brunch. It was amazing. Tons of fresh foods to choose from. They offered an egg station, a pasta station, a selection of breads, rolls and bagels as well as cold cuts, salad, the largest shrimp cocktails I have ever seen, fresh lox, ceviche, fresh fruits, a soup, ribs, chicken, fish and beef. Everything was so outstanding we plan on returning for lunch soon. The live singer was very entertaining as well. I recommend you give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

We made it back for lunch. The fish soup is out of this world. Loaded with small pieces of seafood and some large chunks too. It was $10 but well worth it. Best dish of our meal. They have a reasonably priced children's menu. We got chicken nuggets and fries which was $6.99. We also had a regular menu burger and a chef salad. Each was about $10. The view is amazing too.

Good service, decent food, and comfortable, beach-side accommodations. We visited for breakfast twice during our stay in Aruba. The menu consists of standard American breakfast fare- bacon, eggs, sausage, toast, pancakes- with a few Aruban specialties. Pricing is reasonable. The patio closest to the beach is not open as a dining room during breakfast.

Absolutely amazing! My husband, parents, and I came here for my mom’s birthday. The location is beautiful—right on the beach (I got some great sunset pictures). Our waiter was sweet and attentive, definitely the best service so far on the island. The food was excellent—my mom had lobster, the guys had the surf and turf (omg the filet mignon), and I had the beef kebab. We all had some awesome drinks too. The prices are very appropriate, not terribly expensive. Also, I took a cake and candles to the staff for my mom’s birthday—they put the cake on a plate and wrote happy birthday on it, put a sparkling candle in it in addition to what I brought, and they all came out singing! This is certainly my favorite restaurant out of the several we have been to over the last few days!

Food is pretty good and the view is great. Love the decor and the fact that it's a more chill environment. They play fun music and it's kid friendly.

Good food, good service. We walked into this place right off the beach since we were visiting the island for the day (we were not staying at the resort nearby).

Went for breakfast, service was very friendly and commended us to other restaurants we may like. The view is stunning. Our portions were a bit a small but for the price it's still a good place to go

Not only does it have a great name, but it's a great restaurant with a lot of versatility. Ok a recent vacation my family went there on multiple occasions, from a casual lunch, to a late night happy hour, and a celebratory dinner. The Pina Colada Shrimp quickly became my favorite dish, and William's Poison was the (shareable) cocktail of choice

I love breakfast there. Is a wonderful view of the beach.
You get breakfast combos you can choose for a great price, with tea or coffee included. You can choose the eggs your way and the type of toast you want. I love the Caribbean breakfast because it comes with a bowl of fruit. But if you'd like to taste the Aruban breakfast, you get the best croquette and pastechi. You can also get the American breakfast which has amazing sausage. I love all of them.
The food tastes amazing. The service is great and when you ask for orange juice, it is FRESH. I've seen them prepare it.
Once you try it, you will crave their breakfast again and again.

We were seated in these really cool chairs close to the beach. My husband ordered the champagne breakfast and I had the pancakes. Prices were very affordable and the views were amazing. We ate at 10am and didn't have a wait. The food was good, nothing spectacular, but like I said great prices and an amazing view.

Very good restaurant just on the beach. Good food and nice staff. We walked several days from Palm Beach to Matthew's. It was worth!! Good prices and quality.
By the way virgin cocktails taste exactly like normal cocktails and cost just $4 instead of $8 (I guess then that the quantity of rum is very little).

Nice restaurant right on the beach, so you get the ocean winds as you eat. Food was decent. I ordered the special of the day fish and it was definitely overcooked. We also wanted to grab a second bottle of wine, but the server didn't make it back to our table till we were done the meal. No big thing, but I think they were too busy for the workers. Overall meal was good and dessert was excellent. Must book ahead of time to guarantee a table!

A great place for happy hour -- wonderful 2 for 1 drinks with a side of chips (a rare find for Aruba happy hour). The bar is decorated with various items from the US, so you can sip on a tropical drink, look out to the water and then see something that reminds you of back home.

Service was slow (although the food came out quickly after we ordered), the food was good, and the dinner prices were typical for a beachside resort restaurant. The views are very nice. Great place for a sunset dinner.

Delicious food and friendly staff. The restaurant accommodates large crowds or even small groups/couples. There are weekly specials available as well as a delectable desert menu. Citronella candles are provided to every table to assist with wildlife, but the open air venue offers a beautiful view of Casa del Mar beaches.
