This was our favorite beach in Aruba, and we went to every single beach!!!
Stunning views, romantic, quiet (on weekdays).. weekends lots of locals hanging out and partying!!! Has great spots to eat lunch then head into the water from ladder access or choose to walk through the magical forest to a slight Rocky beach, AMAZING.response / report this review -

Great beach to relax at. Relatively empty compared to most beaches. Mangroves are fun to explore. Also has some good snorkeling if you are a good swimmer.

Definitely get a guide because it is vast. There's some tricky currents so be a strong swimmer. Plan your day wisely and be sure you have the proper gear. The snorkeling itself is spectacular

Outstanding snorkeling. There is definitely a current so it helps to be a good swimmer although my wife, who isn’t, was able to manage fine with a life vest and fins. A lot of the reviews suggest that the path to the reef is through the mangroves but I think just walking directly across the beach facing the entrance I better. I walked across the shallow water, crossed the rocky barrier and then dove in. The reef is within 50m of the barrier and it’s spectacular. Very clear, with loads of coral and fish. It’s a living breathing ecosystem and a real joy to glide over. The current will take you towards the buoy which is why it’s better to take this route versus fighting the current if you go through the mangroves. Enjoy!

A "locals" beach with options for laying out, chilling under mangroves, splashing in shallow inlets, or climbing down the short cliff to the ocean via stairs and ladders along the coast. While most of the water is extremely shallow, if you are a strong swimmer you can get far enough out where corals appear and the visibility is the clearest we have found in Aruba. Big parrot fish feed and the snorkeling is great. If you aren't a confidant swimmer, come out here with a tour so you have a rescue boat.
