Avoid these airlines. Their staff is nice and friendly but they got only two planes. One is broken at the moment and they are not able to rebook you to another flight. Our flight was cancelled and they were looking for alternative for nine hours. We were lucky and booked tickets by another airlines on the same day afternoon.

ALL AMERICANS TAKE HEED - this is a third world operation. They conveniently combined our 9:30am flight with a 3:50pm flight without any warning the morning of. When we finally started boarding at 3:30, there was no formal announcement and we almost missed the flight. These planes make allegiant seem like a rockstar. Avoid avoid avoid.

We booked four flights with Insel (between March 16th to 18th) to go island hopping between Aruba, Curaçao, and Bonaire. After booking we heard a lot of terrible reviews from locals at the hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised. Every flight was either early or on time and the staff were professional and very friendly. Great experience overall.

Flight to curacao on time.

Rebooking of flight on Insel air counter very friendly service.

Total 4 flights, two on time, two with delay of ~90min.

Recommendation:
1) Come to the airport 2hours before departure of Insel air
2) Do not plan connecting flights within 2h of planned arrival of Insel air (gate closure of new flight)

Do not book a flight with this airline. Every single flight is delayed or cancelled. We had a five hour connection in Aruba which we missed because of Insel Air. There were two other flights that left for Aruba while we waited for our delayed flight. The Insel Air staff lied to my face saying that the flight would leave soon and I didn't need to try and book with another airline. They kept telling me there was no way I would miss my connection. Well, we missed our connection and had to spend the night st the airport.

Worst airline ever. 2 hour delay for a 20 minute flight from Curacao to Aruba, no information, reason or updates, unorganized and unfriendly staff.
