Been there done that! Excellent night, thanks to our Canadian host. Montreal rules Aruba!

Went there on Carnival Day, at 5pm just as the parade was passing in front of the restaurant. they ran out of ice and could not make any drinks. The wait staff was more interested in the parade than the patrons. We ordered the guacamole and were going to stay for dinner but the waitress did not want to do her job. Bathrooms were dirty with hand towels on the floor because no one cared to clean them. Avoid this dump.

HORRIBLE!!! Will never go back. Went to a completely empty restaurant. We were seated and ordered a drink that took 15 minutes to come. The Mojito was so sour it was not drinkable, the Cosmo was fair. We were never asked if we wanted another cocktail or how they were. Dinner came a half hour later, COLD! 4 servers and the manager at the bar. One other employee walking around on his phone texting. Pork bites tasted and chewed like they were days old or what was leftover from a trimmed piece of meat . horribly ineditable! They did have live musicthat was the only thing that was good! DONT GO!! There are many other places that are worth your time and money!

Took a waiter 10 minutes to take my drink order. I watched him start to make the drink, then fill a bunch of other orders before bringing my drink. I love Cuban food and had planned on eating here. But no one offered me a menu,no one asked if I wanted food and after 20 min to get a cocktail, I went across the street and ate at another restaurant. When most of your clientele is from a cruise ship or other types of tourists, I guess no one cares about quality service as people won't be returning.

Very disappointing. Had our family christmas eve dinner here and the food was mediocre to say the least. It came cold to the table and the kids in our group were left waiting an additional 30 minutes before receiving their food. It seemed there were only two waiters on staff.
    Two thumbs down.

The food was a bit bland and underwhelming but the worst part was the way they mislead you on pricing. The menu pricing is in USD but they itemize your bill in local currency. The problem is that you are paying a much higher price if you do the conversion listed on the receipt. So the coffee drink listed at $3 is actually charged $4 when you do the conversion from 7 florens charged on the bill. This would likely be illegal in most countries.

Good place, don't get the ropa vieja- too tough and dry. Apart from that the food was good.

    In A Nutshell:

-Cuba's Cookin' was an utter fail.
-The grouper was very, very salty & it was a little strange that it was served w/ Hoisin Sauce (which is Asian, not Cuban).
-The coconut shrimp & papaya salad were just okay.
-The shrimp were delicious, but you only get 4 pieces & the dish cost $17.50.
-Atleast give 6 or even 8 pieces for that price.
-The papaya salad looked great, but the lettuce should be diced up a little more b/c it was hard to grab a piece w/out almost tipping over the sauce on top of it all.

Overall, my wife & I were very disappointed w/ this Cuban restaurant. Especially being so close to Cuba in the Caribbean.

My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant for the first time this year and we were both disappointed. At almost $30 a plate our sides were flavorless white rice and a can of black beans. There is nothing original about this place. They need to improve on their sides and they'll have a shot at getting better reviews. Nothing memorable to say I'll give them a second chance next year.

Good food, good live entertainment, good service. This is in a perfect location within walking distance to everything. The staff is friendly and the food portions are large. Worth the price.

It was good food at decent price. Wasn't too crowded but we didn't go during peak hours.

A typical Cuban restaurant with typical Cuban dishes. There is a band playing every night so if you like a quiet place, don't go there. The service is good but not excellent. However, the food is very delicious. Go with the mentality to have a good dinner and you will enjoy it.

Food was good, music was good, the waiter was meh. My wife and I went to have dinner here and we loved the ceviche. As a whole it was ok. I usually tip well at restaurants, but this restaurant felt compelled to make the 15% mandatory, that kind of ruined my meal. I would have tipped 20%, but the principle of the matter left me bothered. I'm of the opinion that the customer dictates the tip, not the restaurant, otherwise please update your prices to reflect the tip inclusion.

The waiter was too hurry to get the order . We wind up getting wrong order .
Food was too salty. Music was not that good either.
