Bar keep Tony & Charlie are knowledgeable about the drinks & food. I especially enjoyed my conversation with Charlie on Environmental issues that are effecting the island. A lot of history and stories to listen too.
When you first walk in you are overwhelmed my the immense amount of stuff. As you sit down and have a drink you begin to take it all in and see how much history is in this place. Items from all over the world that have been hiding here all of these years. Look at the ceramic Dutch houses lined on the back bar shelf. Those are all KLM mini liquor bottles.
Raul was super friendly and had a very good grasp on the history of this place. We had the surf and turf. 2 huge grilled lobster tails and a nice steak. The PICOR de Gallo in the crock was amazing and the sauce on the steak was super unique and I really liked it.
Overflowing with atmosphere. I hear food varies, but we were very happy with the fish chowder and catch of the day choices. Family visits during the day for sure. Charlie's is in the San Nicolas red light district; evening activities are likely interesting.
Greatest little bar and restaurant in Santa Cruz Aruba. Well worth the 40-minute drive from orangistat. Prices a teeny bit High the great food and a wonderful experience
Went here with my friend Natalie. She loved it. If you see her let me know.
Must see ,not the best for food but ambiance and crowd a must see.
Very cool place but I would suggest eating elsewhere and coming here drinks!
Great bar, very interesting place, i didnt try the food but it's a. Novelty to find such a trendy place in the middle of a red Light district lol
Very fun place to be wait service is always top! The food is consistently amazing!
Great atmosphere, great food. Fast friendly service.
Amazing place.. great food.. awesome service.. ask for Raul!
Charlie's was one of my most favorite stops when I was in Aruba. Cornelius was an interesting man to talk to, I really appreciated his hospitality.
Super fun tourist attraction. We got in a conga line and danced around the restaurant as the staff poured shots in our mouths once we reached the bar. Really cool decorations. Huge cups of liquor. Fun crowd. Been many times.
Very good food. Always go when we are in Aruba
Decent food, cold beer, if pricey. Crazy decor everywhere. Not much else going on in the surrounding town.
Visited with my family (4 kids under 10.) I found Charlie's to be a pretty neat place. The atmosphere was enjoyable, the food was very good, and the service was friendly (if a little slow.) That being said, the area isn't exactly the kind of place you want to hang out. Parked the car and walked past a strip joint (at least I think it was,) with a few of the ladies hanging outside. Walked the block and saw that most other stores were abandoned with broken windows and iron bars. Food and drinks, while very good, were expensive. Prices here were similar to the high rise area he the island. $10.50 for a cold pint of Balashi. While I'm glad I experienced this place, I can't say I'd return; Certainly not with my family.

Great place for drinks and lunch. Stop in for great food ( we experienced the fish soup, Philly cheesesteak, and honeymoon sauce) and history. Raul will tell you all about the history. We now have a new regular stop when we return to Aruba.
Awesome place to take a picture and have a cold beer on your way to the beach or offroad sections of Aruba.
Love this place and the lunch food was awesome. Great place for great people. It is a must place to visit when you are in San Nicolas.
