Food was mediocre if you've had anything authentic. Sausages seemed store bought, pretzels were essentially just breadsticks with salt, and the iced tea came in a can. Overall I would recommend going elsewhere or buying high quality sausage and making it at home. You'll save both money and your time.

My initial impression when we entered was not positive, I really thought it was not going to be a good dinner.
The service appeared a bit agitated, perhaps because we arrived 10 minutes before opening hours (sorry for this!)
    Friendly owners though.

Then the pretzels came, very tasty.
And the main course, great! Big quantity but also a good quality.
All in our group were pleased with the food and one remark by my wife is that it tastes very fresh and natural (as in, really made in the kitchen)

Also good to know, the baby chair is in good condition.

Will come again during this trip.

Awesome schnitzel! Was very impressed with how friendly the staff was and the food was exceptional. My wife and I had a chicken schnitzel, and the even made my wife's different for her preference.

Food is simple yet delicious, and seems like everything is made from scratch. Very unique restaurant for the island. we were not beer drinkers but the beer menu was extensive. The only down side is the place is pricey, especially as the main dishes only come with one side, so it quickly $goes$ up as you are adding $4/each additional side.

Came to Aruba, ate here the second night, my wife and I loved it so much, we came back the fifth night. Best spatzle and schnitzel we have had the pleasure of eating. Having been raised with German cooking, to find such authentic flavors and preparation while on vacation in the Caribbean was a real treat. The soft pretzels are world-class, amazing beer list, friendly service, reasonable prices, and the German background music is a nice touch. We are here two more nights and I have a feeling a third meal is on the horizon. Go, you won't be disappointed.

Amazing home style German food, very welcoming host, and great service! We enjoyed dinner more than in many other fancier restaurants that we tried during this vacation.

The best German food I've ever had. Probably the best meal I've eaten on this vacation and we ate at a lot of very nice restaurants.

I was excited couple of weeks ago to have food from home here. I ordered pork shank, which supposed to be delicious food but I don't know if meat was spoiled or frozen and old but tasted disgusting and I returned it back. Sauerkraut and mashed potatoes were good but total experience not. I appreciate manager's listening and I hope they'll review this food and avoid this in future. I was there just once so I can't judge the other food but hope they're using or start using fresh ingredients. Anyway service was nice and friendly.

After eating so much good fish this is a welcome change. It's like walking into a village in Bavaria with all the local dishes and beers you would expect. Food was amazing and very authentic.

My wife and I had a very nice dinner. The live singer in a tuxedo was singing a lot of old songs from the 40s-50s. The staff was wonderful helping us pick out the perfect dinner.

This place is excellent. I don't know for sure if the people who are running it are Germans or Dutch, but a fellow who I think was the cook came out to chat with me. They are all very friendly. The German listened to me blab on and on about how I know about good German food. I saw several families enter--clearly they were regulars when in Aruba. I watched an American from the Northeast, presumably of German descent, chatter on with the staff in German and English. The schnitzel and noodles were excellent, as was the beer. They have every German beer under the sun. It's easy to find. If you find the Dominos, you have found Bavaria.

A popular place and it is easy to see why. So many beer options, delicious food and generous portion sizes. The staff is friendly and the service was pretty quick, but we were there a little before the dinner rush. If you like beer and fried food than this is the place to be.
