Nice placegood food and service
Very good food and service. The restaurant graciously seated us despite us having no reservation. We had a party of six. The majority rated the restaurant a 5 star with two rating it a 3 and 4 star respectively (hence the averaged 4 star rating).
A superb meal, well served. Ceviche was as good as I remember from Lima. The rice pudding was as good as I ever had. everything in between was first rate. OUTSTANDING!
I just finished a simply awesome meal at Así Es Mi Perú. The service was great and offered great insight to the menu. The food was top notch and everything on the table was delicious. Next time through Aruba we will be back! Oh and the Pisco Sours are splendid!
Don’t judge a book by its cover.
I was hyped on this spot, great reviews, close to hotel, looks authentic. I arrived as a 1-top with no reservation based on Google “busy times” (not busy at Friday 7:30ish, surprisingly) there was a 3-top and a 4-top in outside areaotherwise EMPTY, yet my server seemed hesitant to seat meokay it must be my tattoos (I have a lot, which also means I can probably afford to eat here)..fine, I can deal for some great food. I was nothing but friendly and touristy.
The food though; I opted for the super hard-to-mess-up lomo saltado. My food came out in ~7 minutes (or less) and definitely did not appear to be freshly prepared. The meat was dry and overdone and everything else was bland (save for the stir fried veggies). I actually had to add salt to lomo saltado
~15 min later: Another 1-top (clean cut male tourist) had no issue sitting down (and without any BS reservation questions, etc.). “Great” I thought, “let’s see if the server checks the tip when I pay my bill”. Well, the bill comes, the server, Oliver (by the way), continues to do laps elsewhere. When I do pay for check/get card back, I leave $10 on a $40.86 bill (woof, just lomo and a glass of pinot noir at this price). Oliver proceeds to open and inspect bill/tip right in front of me!! Then I immediately get an “okayyy..” and general gesture/hovering that felt like a passive aggressive “shoo, get out of here”.
Oliver, you really ruined my meal. Now I have work to do tonight before I leave to tell the 4 hotel guests I hyped the place up to (I was excited!) to NOT go here.
Shake my head.
Fantastic! We loved experiencing Peruvian cuisine. The hot Tapas plate and cold tapas plate give you a great taste for Peru's flavors!
We have had two delicious meals here while on vacation! The food is excellent and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Whether you order a fish of the day special, or an interesting appetizer or salad, each course is well prepared, fresh and very tasty!
Located at the front of the Paradise Resort.
Best service on the island. They made dietary substitutes on the hot platter which is great. They make a real gin fizz with egg whites which was great
Really nothing bad to say about the place. Excellent food, and decent prices for Aruba.
Awesome authentic Peruvian. Food has French, Spanish and Asian influence. We had the hot tapas assortment of the five most popular Peruvian dishes. Pisco sour cocktail to start and rice pudding to finish.
Eating here makes me feel @ home #Peru
For the first time I can say: Finally a good peruvian restaurant on the caribbean. Delicious!
So far, 3 days in, and this is the best food with the best drink we've had in Aruba.
The Pisco Sour is an oasis in the desert of Aruba. Most of the other establishments seem to use diluted spirits.
Everything we ate is without complaint from us. The Papa Rellena was good as was the Aji de Gallina sandwich.
Our waitress was very helpful and sweet.
Masterfully executed our meals were outstanding! If I had one complaint it would be the lack of air conditioning outside of that my meal was honestly amazing. Decor is great staff was awesome what else can I say I'll definitely be back!
Really delicious food!! Amazing taste and the presentation is beautiful. Seviches are fantastic but you really have to try the other dishes.
Very nice ambiance and the taste is awesome. Good balance in spices and well portioned. Belly pleased
Really a great new eating experience. I feel like I have been to Peru now. The Pisco Sour is a must try. Maybe the best cocktail ever.
Food was simply amazing and plating was visually stunning!! Have had cervice all over the world and this was by far the best I have ever tasted. Red snapper with seafood medley was equally good and service was excellent. Great atmosphere in the outdoor "market place" seating area. A must visit in Aruba!!
Food is very good. I am impressed considing my Peruvian background. Excellent wine section. They have both an indoor seating for your more intimate moment and an outdoor area for casual dining.
Had dinner last night with my wife and we both LOVED the experience. The ambience was great. Our waiter (Eduardo) extremely helpful and attentive. And most importantly, the food was amazing. The Causa appetizer was DELICIOUS. This will be on our must do list for our next trip to Aruba.
Excellent authentic Peruvian fair. The atmosphere here for dinner is amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and helped us decide what to order. I will heat here every time we visit Aruba.
If I could rate this restaurant 10 STARS I would! My Husband and I landed in Aruba for our honeymoon..not expecting to find a Peruvian Restaurant next to our hotel best surprise ever! we are big foodie people and this Restaurant blow our minds! the food was amazing! so savory the Ceviche please try it..you will never find anything like it!! We also had the Lomo Saltado wow!! If you like French Fries,Steaks and rice this will hit home. we ended up going there almost every other night it was just that good! Please do yourselves a favor and try it out. Needless to say I'm Peruvian huge critic and my husband is American from Florida we are both Peruvian food lovers and this restaurant got our attention from beginning to end!! The Staff incredible, Food is perfection!
Fantastic food, really nice staff and a great pisco sour. We had the fish cerviche for a starter to share - it was plenty and really really tasty. We had the mixed Peruvian main course which consisted of five great dishes of chicken, pork, beef and fish. All really yummy and plenty for two people. We had a meal worth left over which they boxed for us. We had the picarones for dessert and they were great too. All in all a great dinner and something very different from all the big touristy restaurants elsewhere in Palm Beach and Eagle Beach. Highly recommended!
Loved this place! Very authentic Peruvian ambiance.. Try the Ceviche and Arroz chaufa de Mariscos.. Andres and Janina were constantly checking in with us Even though we were in Aruba, we felt like we were in a small town in Peru.. We had a blast! Highly recommended ask for Andres he will make you feel at home, Excellent customer service!
