We have just spent the (Easter) weekend at Surfcoast Cottages with Daryl and Pamela. What a beautiful time we had, both Daryl and Pamela are such wonderful hosts, the place is immaculate. We had a lovely breakfast and Pamela treated us to some homemade minestrone soup. They certainly go above and beyond. I would love to go back and stay again. The area itself is lovely too and close to all the local amenities.

A well appointed spacious unit, fantastic spar. There are two balconies with outdoor bbq. Secure off road parking at the rear. Close to the beach, with premium Foxtel. Very clean and relaxing suroundings. Will be back ..

I did not enjoy my stay here at all. Kitchen floor was sticky/dirty. Plates in the cupboard had vegemite smears on them and cutlery was dirty. Couple of spiders living in the bathroom (and no bug spray). The markers on the oven dial had worn off so it was pretty much useless. Just generally dirty and uncomfortable. Won't be staying here again.

Pros: cheap and spacious

Cons: very dirty, bad mobile reception, folder in room was full of information about things to do in Geelong but lacked basic information like where the shops are in torquay. We never even saw the hosts which meant we couldn't ask for some bug spray or how to get to the shops.
