Decent for a nights sleep, but wouldn't recommend as an overly comfortable place to stay.
This is a lower end hotel, so be prepared. The rooms are below average and there are very few amenities available. The hot breakfast is passable at best. Go in expecting that this is more akin to a flop house and you will be fine, but don’t expect this to be a normal level of hotel luxury.
Clean & tidy rooms, lovely pool just wish they were self contained or at least had a toaster! Daily room service staff great as was reception!
Good staff, location and nice dinning facilities.
Good accommodation, value for money, great location
Comfortable bed. The rooms are a bit tired. No hotel parking. Plenty of breakfast choices.
Excellent service from staff here, they were top notch the entire stay.
Dinner was a little underwhelming but still edible.
Laundry facilities on site were really handy, great to go home with a bag filled with clean clothes.
Overall I'd recommend this hotel as a fantastic location, with comfortable rooms that are a little outdated.
Value for money factor: excellent. Cairns has become a very expensive place to stay so this was a bargain when all things are considered.
Centrally located, somewhat aged and tired with unsatisfactory wifi. Helpful staff. Not great value.
Great little place. Close to the city. But the bats..god they stink
This place ticked all the box for us. Attentive and friendly staff.
The room for two on the 1st floor was spacious and clean, had an aircon, table and seats inside as well as outside on a small veranda. There was a larger than your usual bar fridge, tv, very large mirror and enough storage space.
The hotel has a restaurant-cafe, a pool and is very centrally located right between the main shopping centre and the beach with its Nightlife, Night-Market and large "free" lagoon swimming pool.
Good,. Clean, comfortable, everything works. Reasonable for the price separate room for the kids2 room. Sleeps 5 for only $147/night
Not so good; on street parking, no cooking facilities just microwave and fridge and kettle no toaster or hot plate. verandah very small no outside table.
The Ibis Styles Cairns is exactly what you would expect, a clean and comfortable hotel room for excellent value. The staff at this location were very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel was also very centrally located. Would definitely stay again.
My wife and I stayed for three nights in October. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. Nice and close to all amenities in Cairns. We were able to get around town without the need for a vehicle. Breakfast was good value.
