The Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program, also known as the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, offers eligible patients access to subsidised allied health services, including chiropractic care.
✔ With an EPC referral from your GP, you may qualify for up to five Medicare-funded chiropractic sessions each year.
✔ The initial consultation is completely bulk-billed, so there are no out-of-pocket costs.
✔ For follow-up visits, eligible patients only pay a small gap fee (approximately $15).
✔ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients may be eligible for up to 10 chiropractic visits per year under the Indigenous Health Plan.
If you think you may qualify, speak to your GP about obtaining an EPC referral, or visit our bulk billing services page for more information.
