Zephyr's has been under going some refurbishment and expansion in dining space recently. This is an absolute must if tripping around the river on your way to or back from Fremantle. Excellent for kids as a great playground is here too. Nice menu and prices are reasonable too.
They might need to sort out the kitchen or system they use for ordering as it was not acceptable after waiting for 25mins then being told we couldn't order our lunch at 11.25am because the lunch menu started at 11.30. Wasn't sure if i was at Mcdonalds on the riverfront or another fast food restaurant. Tried ordering gluten free toast for a burger only to be told that they wouldn't advise eating the gluten free bread as it doesn't taste very nice. So ended up ordering a burger with no bun and they still charged full price even though it's less product and less work... only giving 2 stars for the location and the venue. Hopefully they can take this on board and improve as we weren't the only ones not happy that day.

A great place to sit alfresco and watch the river life go by along with a great range of food items and good coffee
Parking within the café car park is free but can get very busy.
WARNING : if you park outside in the large car park ensure you abide by the parking rule's and charges located on the machine otherwise you WILL get a hefty fine
An absolutely beautiful Cafe, the food was delicious well priced and bought out perfectly on time, and the view is just breathtaking. I highly recommend this place for families as it has a big playground and is right on the river front.
Great location overlooking Swan River and watching the boats going up and down! Very popular with the locals and with in the know tourists. Foods is very nice and love the coffees they serve up! Highly Recommended! Give it a try and leave me your valued feedback thank you.
A large range of cakes and the coffee is top quality. The newspaper is always there to read and you can keep and eye on you kids (when they are at the playground) while enjoying lunch by the waters edge. The staff are very friendly.
Average food at typical prices. Granddad was a bit put out that the little ones couldn't enjoy a piece or two of their small birthday cake (not allowed at the cafe) but yeah - as I explained its just a sign of the times. Nice scenery and a good kids' playground in the park nearby gives us a reason to come back again though.
Beautiful location. Great to have breakfast with canoeists beaching and coming in for coffee. Great pancakes, interesting breakfasts. Trialling dinner at the moment and it's a wonderful, romantic place. Good with kids, friendly and provide colouring in. Play area nearish.
Ok food and coffee. Has a fantastic playground for kids. The river views are stunning
Cheap enough to have a coffee and enjoy the river, not even close to cheap in any definition beyond a simple drink. High prices but high quality food and scenery. There is a Boat ramp to the south and to the north, a great and big playground for the young ones.
Found the service to be a bit average today. The girl who took my order appeared to be in a bit of a grump. Also my table was cleared whilst I got up to order something else for my kids. (My table was right beside the till with a half drunk coffee and a bit of cake and I left it for a very brief moment). The bacon burger also has far too much fatty bacon in it. Nice location but you are paying for the view and not the food. Also the staff tend to loiter around the till area looking a bit unhappy about being there. A couple of staff however were lovely and I will probably return simply because its a nice location.
It's definitely a nice spot but just another example of an average cafe charging premium prices. I had a bacon and egg 'burger' that definitely had adequate amounts of bacon and egg but for $16!!??? That's crazy. My father ordered the pancakes and they were also $16 which is a little more standard but both meals had obviously been microwaved as they were too hot to have come from a pan or toaster. They also arrived in less than 10 minutes which was also suspicious. I don't understand the reasoning behind such high prices when the food quality isn't reflected by this
