When it feels, lonely, sad, depressed, hopeless, just drink this. It represents the mood of Turkiye.

I didn't actually get to enjoy this winery tasting because of a terribly rude encounter with staff upon arrival. When I arrived their outside door handle had not threaded properly and permitted me to turn it infinitely in both directions (a problem that happens with old doors on occasion). In response to this I knocked on the door and I expected staff to simply open it and let me and my party in. Instead, a young woman opened the door, clearly annoyed, and said to us in the most patronising fashion I have perhaps ever experienced "Turn!"

Rather than sarcastically thanking her for teaching me how a door worked (I'm a grown man you awful wretch) we simply turned and walked back to our car and headed to our next stop at Oakridge, a winery where we have had nothing but wonderful experiences on 3 visits to the region now. I spent nearly $2,000 on wine that day (I'm aware this is not a grand fortune but I suspect the owners of Yarra Yering might have been interested in my business). It is truly a shame that when you treat someone so rudely you lose them as a customer. I encourage this winery to have a conversation with their staff about what business they're in (pro tip: it's service oriented sales).

Stunning pond of water lilies and wines that stopped me in my tracks. Great education on the wines and history. We'll be back!

The place is small but very nice. The wines are really expensive but very good. Try the wine with the portuguese grapes, it's amazing!

This place has some of the nicest wines in the Yarra Valley. Keep in mind they are not cheap and there is a fee for tasting. I think the fact there is a fee to try the wine might explain the negative reviews. There is no food or bar, you come here to try and buy wine. Dont come for a free drink and you wont get rude treatment.
