Great relaxing library. We go there almost every week and almost always max out the limit of books we can borrow out at any one time (50). We read a wide range of books, and they're all great: piano music, comics, history, plants, cooking, fiction, dvds, etc.
Free wifi, friendly staff, and by far the widest selection of books that you can borrow in any public library in Canberra.
Do check out the comic books - they're not just about superheros anymore. Some teach cooking (eg. "Food Wars"), wine tasting ("Drops of God"); some express stories in ways that can't be done in prose; etc.

Suggestion: the best comic book series are often missing issues and there's no easy way to request them (because you have to go to a completely different part of the website, find where to buy the issue, and find the ISBN number; and you can only request one issue at a time).

I highly recommend the piano sheet music - about three months ago it improved dramatically (they brought the piano books downstairs, re-organised them and bought new books)

A great library with a huge selection of books. However they have put a cafe into the library and it is very noisy. Gone to the days of libararies being quiet I suppose!

They could use another scanner, but the staff are all very lovely and they are otherwise equipped with computers and printing facilities.
