The accommodation is well positioned on the highway and a short 5 minute drive to the Mackay Bluewater Lagoon. Easy vehicle access and plenty of onsite parking. The family rooms are spacious and the staff are very friendly.

Was really impressed with our 2 bedroom unit, was very spacious and beds so comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer .

Prices are reasonable,and rooms ok but definitely a no frills motel. No bar or restaurant, reception closed earlier than the promised 8pm so I missed out on picking up breakfast and their telephones in the room or the emergency phone beside reception don't work either!

Staff very friendly. Room was quite spacious. I am amazed by the bathroom. For the first time in my life, I have used a bathroom with a fan that actually sucks the hot air outside so well that the mirror doesn't fog up. The water for the shower can be regulated via a mixing battery and not separate controls for hot and cold water. Shower head is detachable from the wall and can be switched between fine and more soft spray. Instead of providing just little bits of different shower supplies, all of them are provided in wall-mounted containers which hold more than you need. Also, they have a separate container for shaving cream! Adjacent to each room is a small garden/terrace with two chairs and a few plants. It admittedly feels a bit cagey, because it is surrounded by fences. Another minor problem is the closeness to Mackay airport. Planes will fly pretty low above the property and make quite a bit of noise. Luckily, Mackay airport closes at night, so there are no flights between 10pm and 6am. The noise also didn't bother me as much as I expected. I missed the first two planes of the do and just awoke to my alarm at 8am.

Location was awesome!
Staff were amazing, rooms were perfect size and conveniently stocked with tea + coffee, biscuits, kettle, toaster, cold water and cutlery!

This motel looked beautiful from the outsidevery dissappointing inside. I booked this motel because of the review it hadit was terrible.
The room stank like it had been closed up and moulding for a while. The pillow i had to lay my head on also stank like it had been used one too many times. I had ants in my room. No microwave (like all standard motels have). The only thing I enjoyed in my room was the pic on the wall. Definitely dont recommend this placeresponse / report this review -

Excellent room with plenty of space to move, loved the lounge and somewhere other than the bed to sit and watch TV.
Gentleman at front desk was super helpful, even changing our room so my Hubby didn't have to carry our Waco up the steps.
Good close proximity to dining options and we had lovley meal at the Bowls Club which was a short walk away.
All in all good clean and well priced .
Bed very comfy too .
